The best thing is the location, near the Plaza de Armas, near the tourist stop of Santa Ana (where the tours and transfers leave you), with many accessible options for eating (in the hostel they offer dinner but it is very expensive) and a supermarket a 100 meters. It is expensive compared to the other hostels in the area, but for its type the price is reasonable. The patio does not have a roof, so if it rains it is a problem, especially if your room does not have a bathroom inside. The breakfast is quite poor, to have more you have to pay (and it is expensive). The attention is very good and the security too. Excellent cleaning, and you don't suffer from the cold at night. The room of 6 in which I stayed was quite uncomfortable, very small for the number of beds, but at least it had large lockers. The kitchen cannot be used, there is only a microwave and a refrigerator outside. The shower has real hot water (not the electric heater) but you have to wait a while for...

However the location is so central I spent most of my trip walking comfortably to anywhere I needed. As a solo female traveler I valued the lockers and clean women’s restroom, I felt very safe. The included breakfast is filling, and the comfort of having a burger restaurant and bar open up at night helped take off pressure to decide where to go at night; I got to enjoy an alpaca burger from the comfort of my own home. They also had vegetarian options available. Beautifully decorated and of course I am including a picture of the VIEW from my room which was GORGEOUS!! In the end this was so affordable and made my trip to Cusco a breeze, coming home for the night to recharge somewhere clean spacious and private...
