I was quite disappointed with my breakfast here. I visited the other Organika location two years ago and had a wonderful experience, so I was excited to try this one, especially since they serve all-day breakfast.

I chose the pancakes after seeing good reviews and photos, but unfortunately they came out completely cold, the portion was tiny, and I couldn’t taste any love or care in the food at all. I also ordered the hot chocolate and specifically asked if it was made with ceremonial cacao — they said yes, but it definitely wasn’t. I can taste the difference when it’s pure and when it’s not.

I spoke my truth with honesty and kindness to the waitstaff and told them how I felt, but they did nothing — they didn’t even offer to warm the pancakes up or give me something else. I know I can’t expect the same level of service as in the Western world, yet I feel called to share my experience in case it can serve as constructive criticism for the owner or manager. Especially since the prices are high, the quality and love put into the food should match the value — and sadly, it didn’t this time.

To add on top of that, the WiFi was out, and the main reason I chose this space was because it said it was a coworking area with WiFi — I told them about this too, but again, they did nothing.

My previous experience at the other location, particularly their lunch menu with pizzas and pastas, was much better. I hope they can bring that same standard of care, quality, and...

I was bitten by one of the cats at this cafe. The staff did absolutely nothing to help the situation. Not until I returned with police did they cooperate. I asked to know the cat’s vaccination status and for the owners contact information so I could communicate that to medical staff to follow up. They refused to give me the cats/cafe owners contact. Instead they showed me blurry photos of the cats supposed vaccination card but wouldn’t sent it to me. I had to return with police before they cooperated in the least. The police forced them to accompany me to a medical clinic where it was found that the two year old cat was missing several vaccines including the rabies vaccine. I ended up needed a shot in the hip and various meds to take for up to two weeks. They didn’t however have the rabbies shot. The staffs utter lack of concern was shocking even to the clinic staff. The lady from the cafe was only concerned with safeguarding the cats playful reputation.
