Unfortunately we had an awful experience with this hotel. I highly recommend that you find another hotel, and let this one go. The rooms are old and outdated, dirty and very noisy. You can hear the conversations of people outside. The tv doesn’t work, the fridge is really noisy. The shower was the only thing that works.
When we arrived we had to pay 6 dollars extra per night as a “service charge”. This is where I should have left, but I decided to pay it anyways. I was in the room for 15 minutes waiting for my friend. When she arrived she wasn’t allowed to enter the hotel, because she didn’t bring the right ID. The owner was very rude and impolite, even aggressive, and would not help us. We didn’t want any trouble, so I kindly asked for the money back, so we could go find another place. At this point I had not even used the room and had payed just 15 minutes earlier. However, the owner would not give us any money back, she was clearly very angry for no apparent reason. She then proceeded to ignore us, but not even looking at me, and then leave the building. We didn’t know what to do, in the end we were let into the room after she left, by the kind young staff. As mentioned, the room was terrible, we stayed a few hours and then left to find another place.
Probably my worst hotel...
Read moreOur room was located on the second floor overlooking the courtyard and was cute and clean with plenty of room. Breakfast was good and had great variety of choices and changed a bit daily. The hotel is located within walking distance to JFK park, the Indian Market, and Larcomar mall, among other things to see and do. The only issue I had with the room was the noise and it was not the issue of the hotel. There was a group of kids there whose chaperones let them run around and they were very loud until late in the evening. We could hear a bit of the car traffic from the street even though we were near the back of the hotel, but nothing they could do about it and that was just due to the...
