Hotel Pradera Verde Inn — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

The owner was SO nice! I was here over Christmas 2015 and she had her family visiting. They couldn't have been nicer! The Hostel is very clean and in very good shape. I think it is fairly new. The rooms aren't huge, but mine had a double or queen size bed and a private bathroom. It was very comfortable and the hot water was good. There is a TV in the room as well as one plug for my electronics. Free wifi was pretty good as well. They offer breakfast which was your typical, eggs, bread, tea or coffee, juice, fresh fruit.||||They have a very nice living room area with a large flat screen tv as well as games available and a computer here. There is also a sitting area in the lobby and a nice garden area.||||They have 2 rooms that share a bathroom with single beds that are a very good value if you need an inexpensive alternative to a hostel. This is a great location in Miraflores. Some of the staff speak English. I was able to leave my suitcase here for a day, and they arranged transportation to the airport for me. Hola. Quiero contaros lo que he vivido en este hotelucho. Tengo 33 años, muchos viajes a mis espaldas, he visitado 29 países y jamás he escrito un comentario negativo de nadie. Siempre habrá sitios que nos gustarán más o menos pero esto ya no es un tema de gustos. |Llegué con un amigo para quedarnos 2 noches. Teníamos 2 habitaciones una al lado de otra. Cuando nos dio las llaves nos confundimos y yo me quedé la de él y con su llave abrí mi puerta, y el con mi llave la suya. Al darnos cuenta de la gravedad de la situación decidimos probar con una de las llaves la puerta de la habitación de al lado que estaba vacía y también se abría. Bajamos a la recepción para comunicarle a la señora lo ocurrido. ¿Os imagináis que todas las llaves del hotel abren todas las puertas? ¿Os imagináis la clase de seguridad que tienen? La señora ni siquiera nos pidió disculpas. Ella misma cogió mi llave y abrió otra puerta. Yo no daba crédito. Pensar que dejo mis cosas de valor y que cualquier persona puede entrar o dormir con un ojo mirando a la puerta por si acaso. La señora nos dijo que la situación se había puesto tensa y nos pidió que nos marcharamos. Encima quería echarnos. Si el negocio fuera mío se me caería la cara de vergüenza. Pocas horas antes del altercado le había dejado mi ropa para que la lavara, pues bien...ahí va la siguiente! Me dice que trabaja con una lavandería que cobra por prenda. No por kilogramo. Ella misma cuenta mis prendas, mira el listado de precios y lo calcula. Me dice que serán aproximadamente 51 soles (13,50€). Me parece carísimo teniendo en cuenta que son 10 camisetas, 1 short, 1 mono de tela hippie, 1 toalla fina, 1 leggins y 14 prendas de ropa interior. Acepté ya por pereza de salir. |Pasó todo lo de las llaves y cuando volvimos al hostal por la noche la señora me presenta una factura de 127,10 soles (34€!!!!!) ¿Estamos locos o que? Con ese dinero aquí me puedo comprar toda la ropa que le dejé para lavar, por el amor de Dios. Le pagué, porque soy así de gilipollas a veces porque no quiero problemas. Os dejo la foto de la ropa, para que veáis que no ocupa ni media lavadora, ropita de mochilera.... y ahora decidme si eso vale 34€. Yo me siento estafada. Por mucha lista de precios que luego me presente. A mi me dice al principio que me va a cobrar 34€ y la ropa la limpio a lenguetazos. No tendría que haberle pagado. Ese fue mi error. Pero oye, que de todo se aprende. Yo ahí no vuelvo ni que me paguen. |Y deberían cerrar el hotel hasta que arreglen las cerraduras. Que esto ya es...

We stayed here for a night, left for a night because they were full then returned for another 2 nights. We had the same triple room both times which was big enough, and had a nice big bathroom with a hot shower. There was a tv with cable in our room. Breakfast was very basic but edible, nice to look into the garden with the little guinea pigs. Within walking distance of the centre of Miraflores but out of the way enough to be quiet. Only noise was the bell ringing several times a night and the night receptionist wearing heels on the wooden floor.
