Lima Walking Apartments - Central Miraflores — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

We had informed the host that we were going to arrive pretty late in the night from an international destination. When we reached the apartment, the host hadn't even bothered to provide a bottle of drinking water for us. One cannot drink tap water in Peru and we were unable to find any drinking water that late in the night. Even the building concierge could not help us! The apartment floors were also mucky. We didn't want to wear our shoes to dirty it further, but our feet became dirty very quickly. Decided to go for a shower to clean up, but quickly realized that there was water leaking through the walls of the shower and into the bedroom! No extra towels were provided to us and we had to spend the night mopping the floors. There was a hand soap dish in the washroom but no hand soap was provided! There was a washing machine but no washing powder! There wasn't even a roll of toilet paper provided for the guest toilet! All these things barely cost any money, but they do make life easier for the guests. When we contacted the host the next day about these issues, they didn't seem very bothered. They said we are just supposed to use the shower gel for our hands(we had already used the given tiny packet of shower gel). No soaps/towels arrived that day and we had to wait another day for replacements to arrive. Even when they did, the lady did not agree to provide us with extra towels. She collected the old ones and provided exact replacements. Horrible horrible experience of hospitality during our first stay in Peru. This place is only good for the location, everything else is...
