Read moreFine if you’re expecting a hostel. First, the showers need a good deep clean. Beds are comfy but something around mine smelled strongly of mildew. And we woke up with sore throats. Pros:
-It looks clean and has great presentation. Great ambience.
-Great customer service despite limited English.
Has nice hot showers
-it’s nearby the bus stop to machu pichu, it’s around nice places, next to a laundromat to wash clothes, and okay places to eat
this can also be a con but can hear the river flowing but not too noisy.
Cons:
no elevators, no climate control in the room. Recommend bundling up in the room if visiting in December.
-had to walk up a hill to arrive at this hotel so can be tiring
-Initially after first entering, the bathroom was smelly and so had to close the bathroom door or air out the smell.
if taking showers late at night, water took longer to warm up.
outer bedcovers smells musty
Overall, I really enjoyed...
