KASAS DEL INKA — Hotel in Machu Picchu

The hotel is very humble and correctly priced as a budget establishment. Their pictures are a bit fluffed up. What really made the stay amazing was their incredible customer service. The lovely lady who welcomed us gave us solid tips about things locals know to get the most out of Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu as well as how to avoid tourist traps and prices. Rooms were clean and for the price this place is pretty good. Noise from the street can be loud but about 10pm it gets nice and quiet. Staff is very nice, but we had an issue with our hot water at first they fixed it promptly.

The made breakfast for us in the morning scrambled eggs, bread, coffee, papaya juice and fruit.

Pessoal, não fiquem nesse lugar. Chegamos às 19:00 neste hostel que haviámos agendado pelo book e, após fazermos o pagamento da estadia, o anfitrião nos avisou que não teria água a partir de 22:00 por um problema de abastecimento na cidade e que a água só voltaria às 10:00 do dia seguinte. Quando chegamos no quarto, não havia água na torneira nem para escovar os dentes. Resolvemos perguntar no hostel ao lado para saber se realmente faltava água na cidade toda como haviam falado ou se era um problema desse hostel e, adivinhem, no hotel ao lado (Hotel Retama para onde fomos que inclusive super indico pela infraestrutura e hospitalidade) havia água normalmente, não tinha nada disso que falaram. O problema do Kasas del Inka eram suas instalções hidráulicas velhas e uma caixa d'água pequena que não atende. Enfim, não recomendo de jeito nenhum pelo transtorno que tive, não...
