Kings Landing Hostel — Hotel in El Nido

I spent 2 nights in the dorm of kings leading. First the value for money is really bad 11 euros for a bed in a rather old dorm. Very few common area ||But the best part is that the owners are huge liars||I booked with them the 10 am shuttle from el nido to puerto princesa with a company named nature island ||When I arrived at the station the company almost laughed at me when I show them the ticket I bought at kings landing. In fact there was no bus at 10.. the next bus was at 11.. the company put me in the 11 am bus so but I has to wait to leave the town. ||I then wrote a review on booking and the manager answered me that he phoned the bus company... and they told her that the 10 am bus had a mechanical problem !!! But there were no bus as it is written on the enclosed timetable ||I cant reply on booking so I am posting this review to warn all people who d like to book with this hostel DONT DO THAT . THEY ARE MAJOR LIARS AND THAT S REALLY BAD TO...

Kings landing hostel is definitely the best hostel (and hotel) that you can find in El Nido. Why? It’s in the centre of the town, it’s close to everything that you need, restaurants, shops, island hopping boats. It’s very clean and this is not very common for the hostels in El Nido (I met guys with rats in their hostel!!) It has everything, wifi, free water refill and free (very good) coffee in the morning. The double room has a brand new bathroom with a beautiful shower, air conditioning and a fan. It’s better than a hotel room. Awesome! What else? The owners are fantastic!! Arlene is so nice and helpful. She’s always smile, she gave us a lot of information and booked for us island hopping tours. They always try to make links between the guests and I think that this is the best mission for a hostel. Highly...

After leaving another hostel that was way overpriced, we shopped around town and ended up here. The owner, Marlene, is absolutely amazing. She showed us around the place and offered us different rooms before we committed to anything. She told us about all kinds of activities and could organize whatever we wanted. She was a sweetheart and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her guests! We got 2 beds in a dorm for 2 nights. Large room with fan and AC and windows and a patio door to open when the power goes out(which is very often in el nido). Had decent wifi, breakfast was very good and cheap!.Clean towels and linens....
