Pawikan Hostel El Nido — Hotel in El Nido

We had a relaxing stay here during our vacation which involved a tour of Puerto Princesa and El Nido. Everything was hassle-free since our contact in Pawikan Hostel already assisted us with all the arrangements that we needed in Palawan including the tours, van transfers and of course, the accomodation on all areas. Have also learned that Pawikan Hostel already has contacts in other areas of Palawan aside from Puerto Princesa, which is great! As for the property itself, I find it quaint and straightforward, which offers really just what you need when you intend to be out of the hostel and enjoy the sights of El Nido. The staff here are lovely, super helpful and hospitable. Always smiling and willing to help. One of the guest also said the staff here is a charm. The location is walking distance to the port going to Coron. Breakfast is perfect. Hot and cold shower, wifi is available. They can try to assist you to arrange almost everything like renting a motor bike, taraw cliff climbing, island hopping tours, buying a ferry ticket to coron, etc. Rent a drybag and aqua shoes from them which is practical if you just needing it for a few days. By the way glass of water and hot water for coffee is free. You just need to pay by honesty policy the refill for 1lt bottle. Room is basic with just a bed and side table. Daily cleaning and change of towels but no toiletries in the bathroom so bring your own or buy from nearby shops. Bathroom has hot water for showering and comfortable size. We stayed in room 5 at level 2.||Location is walking distance to the beach, restaurant and shops. There's a few massage parlours at around 500-700 Peso for an hour. There's also a small shop nearby selling cheese burgers for 45 Peso.||Daily breakfast include porridge/soup/behoon, bread and coffee. Not much selection but its decent and tasty. Filtered water included so can refill your water bottle before heading out.||Very friendly staff and they do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
