Northern Hope Inn — Hotel in El Nido

This is a small hotel with organized tours under the Northern Hope (LESS) Tours umbrella. ||I booked tour A (after waiting 4 days of bad weather) with option Big Lagoon. They made me wait at the pier for more than 1 hour for the boat. They were clearly waiting for last minute clients to fill up the boat before sailing. Boat went to the Small Lagoon instead, the tour guide said that they had to switch because by then, the Big Lagoon was at max capacity. First disappointment, whatever the reason given.||I foolishly booked tour B for the next day, was sent to the pier on my own, and also for nearly an hour. Embarked, and put on the life vest, only to be KICKED OFF the boat AT THE LAST MINUTE, due to maximum capacity? ?They tried to sell me to another company, but by then all other boats had already left. Had they not wait until the last minute to sell and resell their clients, I would happily go with another company.||All other tours were more organized. They gathered their clients, marched them down to the pier, a quick stop to get gears, then straight to the boat. Northern Hope Inn clients had to wait more than an hour. ||The clerk was apologetic and gave me a refund. But that didn't cut it for me. To get to El Nido, I had to take 4 flights, and 1 long distance bus drive, a total of 3 days on the road, and my window of 8 days to take this touris gone, thanks for a large part of NHI. ||NO to Northern Hope Inn Tours||NO to Northern Hope Inn...

Palawan is really amazing that’s why it is one of the best islands in the world. You will be amazed by the crystal water, rock formations and their underwater creatures. We booked via Cebu Pacific PhP 3,413.00 roundtrip and our accommodation at Northern Hope Tours located at El Nido Palawan. PhP 6,600.00 per head for 5D/4N. Package includes Underground River (2 hours away from PPS), Tour A and C at El Nido (5-6 hours away from PPS) but be ready for the zigzag road best to travel at night if you want to maximize your day/time, Hotel Accommodation, Breakfast, Buffet Lunch and Van Transfers. Important reminder: Bring underwater camera, powerbank, extra batteries, waterproof bag, medicine, cash...

Honest review Northern Hope Inn: ||||1.No phone signal and poor internet connection.|| The door was always locked.We have to call them to get their assistance. || Unfriendly receptionists.||||2. No sky cable signal and no tv connection ||3. No trashcan||4. Dirty: leftovers of former guests (beer bottles)||5. Noisy and defective aluminum toilet door||6.
