U Inn — Hotel in El Nido

We stayed at U Inn for three nights as a group of three. The location is excellent, very central and convenient. That said, finding the entrance was a small adventure: it's tucked away in a narrow hallway between what looks like sewer pipes. There are no signs to guide you, so we had to rely on matching it with pictures from Google. A funny memory now, but definitely something that could be improved!

The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The only downsides were that the bathroom was quite small and the water pressure was very low. Also worth mentioning: there were intermittent electricity shortages during our stay. While a bit worrying at first, they were resolved quickly each time, so it didn’t cause too much trouble we were very hot for 1 hour tho .

Overall, it was a good stay for the price we paid : clean, well-located, and great value for a budget option, as long as you don’t mind...

The location of this property is fantastic, right on the walk way to lots of restaurants and bars. And a short walk to El nido beach which is a nice beach to chill. You can also rent a bike to get a tuktuk to other beaches in a short ride.

The hotel is hard to find as you have to walk down an alley. The room is quite small and can get a build up of sand and dirt from the beach and walk way but there is a broom outside the room you can use. The bathroom was really small with little to no water pressure (not really hotels fault), but there was a bucket and cup you could fill up and wash in which was easier. The bed itself was a small double but was okay for us, it was comfortable.

Overall for the price I would recommend staying here, there are a few negatives but the location...

An excellent price compared to most hostels around. Great for backpackers for a couple of nights. Your paying the most for the excellent location. It’s right in the main strip of town about a minute walk from the ferry port and a minute walk from shops/ restaurants and the beach. The room itself the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and bedding. also the owner is super nice and offers laundry clean, motorbike rental and tours.💕💕

Needs a sign for the property. A horrible smell constantly came from the bathroom. The shower is awkwardly positioned right over the toilet with next to nothing water pressure coming from it, but at least the water was hot. Need to provide more...
