Place is a bit tricky to find but use Google Maps. Some locals dont know it but ask another. Lol

Here are some details that can help. If you cant find it using your google maps or having a hard time doing it, head over to the beach near Dmall Area. Walk to your right until you see Tom and Toms Signage there, like the first picture. Trust me on this, after you see the signage, there's a building and a street there. Get in to the street and turn right and another right until you see the Backpacker's lodge. Its cool to be lost sometimes. Lol

Second option is, On the main road, you can ask the tricycle driver to drop you at the 24/7 conv store but you'll see a Crown Regency hotel though. Dont be confused, then look for Palawan Express Pera Padala and go inside the street. Youll see signages too from there and arrows.

Ill rate this as 8/10. Nice set up but its really a dorm type and no covers when youre sleeping. You gotta be careful sometimes as you dont know who youre with. But they have a mini bar here and decent bathrooms and restrooms everywhere ans even inside your room. Nice staff too. They are approachable. Goodluck ans hope you see this inn with no problem. Its a 3 min walk to the beach and situated in...

Mosquito infested hotel!

This place is full of mosquitos! Bring your own shampoo, toilet paper and mosquito repellent if you want to stay here. They gave us a tiny mini soap on our first day and that was it! (we stayed for a week), we asked them to clean the room, but the only thing they did was to change towels! the room was never cleaned and they did not give us any more toiletries. Apparently. if you need more toilet paper you have to go to the counter and ask for more.

The room was full white, looks like a hospital room, with nowhere to hang your clothes, and the window is right in front of the counter so you had to keep it shut the whole time otherwise everyone outside can see inside your room. There is no drinking water in this hotel, which is usually a basic thing in backpacker hotels.

The bathroom does not have an air extractor fan, so you will be stuck in a humid room with no sunlight and closed windows.

The price is not even that "low" compared to other actual backpacker places. Absolutely the worst,...

3 stars based on cleanliness and location. Lost 2 stars for one of the noisiest nights ever. When you enter the lot it feels well looked after and clean. We paid around £25 per night for a double room and ensuite wet room. Room is really basic: double bed, tv, air con and bed side table. No storage for clothes. 5 minute walk to the beach in-between station 1 and station 2, very close to resto-bars, activities etc. Quiet atmosphere most of the time, however one night we had children playing football until midnight, a foreigner and a local girl arguing at 3am, she was screaming until 20 minutes later once if the staff quieted them down, then a baby crying from 7am until 9am 😑 It's best suited for more chilled out folks, party people best look else where. Didn't eat any of the food here so can not comment on that. Also there is a cute puppy...

The place was clean and okay for its price — don’t expect much. I just got disappointed with their customer service, I booked with a 2-hours early check-in privilege and exclusive wifi room but when I arrived I still waited until 2PM (even if there are not much guests). Wifi and water pressure is weak too. I guess the rooms and service is fair for its price. Our room is near the common area and they have open mic and billiards so we couldn’t sleep because of the noise. Can’t say the staff are accommodating. They don’t also change the towels and give free toiletries for every night of stay. For the pros, it is just less than 5 mins walk to beach and main road. The ambiance in the common area is nice too. That’s all.

A clean hostel that's only a minute walk away from the front beach. The people there were really nice. I love that they have working WiFi, though it gets a little wonky at times. For digital nomads who are looking for budget-friendly hostels, you might want to consider this. My only gripe was the power interruption, which I think is inevitable among budget accommodations on the island with no heavy-duty generators. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place for solo travelers with a shoestring budget.
