Boracay. Known for its white powdery sand, crystal clear water, and newly opened after a massive clean up drive from our President. This beauty of course does not come cheap. Boracay is also known to be quite expensive when it comes to food, attractions, and of course accommodation; especially since its reopening, we are expecting that businesses will try to regain lost profits.||||I have been to several hotels in boracay, and I must say, LSM on station 1 is on my top 5. Here is why:||||Pros:||- Huge Rooms. Yes, bigger compared to 4-5 star hotels here in Manila. Althemore bigger than rooms in Boracay.||- Personal Ref||- Electric Kettle with 2 standard coffee cups||- 2 huge beds||- Bidet||- Flat Screen (sony)||- Veranda - which is uncommon in lesser star rated hotel||- Closet that can hold clothing of a family of 5.||- Multiple sockets - one 2-outlet socket near the bedside||- Soft Bath Towels||- Highly Genuine Accommodating people - I'd like to mention their Front Desk Officer named JAN. He has done well in making our stay pleasurable. We arrived at 10 am coming off from a 5AM flight. with all the lack of sleep, luggage to carry, breakfast-less people, Jan really tried his best to find us a room for EARLY check in. Everyone is capable for allowing an early check in, but not everyone is willing to allow. But Jan, has stepped up and understood our concern. ||Not only that, he also agreed to our late check out request since our flight is at 9:35PM, at a very minimal fee. (im not saying that he always allow this, of course it depends on the availability of the room; but he could have just said "no", but thankfully he didn't)||So Jan, thank you. We have not thanked you enough, but thank you.||||Cons:||WiFi - it is very intermittent. if your phone does not have an auto connect feature, then you may have to input the password about 4 times every 15 mins. But this should be fine, since we are in a vacation. we should be more focused on relaxing and having fun.||Water Pressure - it lacks the pressure to my personal liking. (This might not be a concern for many, though personally, i am quite particular with this.)|||| Cons that are not LSMs problem:||- first timers might get quite lost finding the white beach as you need to pass through tight alleyways before getting to the beach. it would take about 3 minutes to walk from the hotel to beach front.||- there are continuous construction works beside LSM and in the main road as part of the beautification program.but, these noises do not come through the walls. so noise can't be heard from inside the room.||||Overall, i gave LSM a rating of 5 because they gave more than what we expected at a fraction of a cost! Especially the kind people led by Jan.||||Will i...
Read moreLSM only honored Agoda bookings around the time we reserved a room for our August trip. Good thing the whole process was smooth. We only had to show our booking print-out upon check-in.||||Location: Not beachfront but was only a 2-minute walk to the beach (Station 1). It was also by the main road, but street noise was tolerable. Several small convenient stores were also walking distances from the inn, so that was a plus for us. We also didn't have a hard time going back to LSM late at night, as the areas that we would always pass through were all well-lit.||||Room: Ours had a small balcony where we would hang our wet clothes. The shower had a consistent flow of hot water. Cable channels were also superb, as we got to watch several of our favorite shows during the evening. THERE'S ALSO FREE WIFI! :)||||We loved the beds, the sheets and pillows. Space was really clean and smelled good upon check-in.||||Others: No free breakfast included in the package, which is not a big deal.||||Definitely one of the best and reasonably-priced...
Read moreTerrible hotel except the very nice staff that at no way are at fault just whoever owns this place. The shower has no hot water due to cheap water heater on the third floor due to water pressure even though the hotel changed the unit and I complained everyday. Also the room is so noisy due to the air con being one of the old cheap units that noise just travels through it(being right on the Main Street). Toilet takes over 5 minutes to fill. So no 2 flushes without out the smell going everywhere. with a curtain only separating the “blue rooms” washroom. Towels should all be thrown out as they are twin and tiny, I saw their towel storage, they all the same. Noise even travels under the front door. Hated this place but the staff is really nice, not their fault one bit. If they fixed these issue hotel is not actually bad. Just not caring how people feel and that they can’t sleep. Also there is a ant problem...
