I initially booked Beyond Boracay Adventure, but it got canceled since they didn’t meet the required number of participants. They offered me a refund or to join the next scheduled trip — so I decided to hop on the island tour instead.
At first, it was a bit awkward (I’m a shy person, and I tend to struggle keeping up with conversations, especially with foreigners — in this case, 1 from Australia, Grant; 3 from London, Fiona, Josh, Bradley; 3 from Spain, Aina, Joan, Nico; 1 from Taiwan, Ken; 1 from the US, Sarath and 2 of us from PH, Grecca Bradley’s partner). But as the day went on, I didn’t regret booking this activity at all. Even though it was a small group, it turned out to be so much fun.
I eventually connected with everyone — especially Fiona and Ken — and even got a little too competitive during the games (to the point where I was “arguing” with Nico 😅).
If you’re a solo traveler like me, whether it’s your first time in Boracay or not, I’d definitely recommend this activity.
Special shoutout to Jae and Gregg, and the rest of the crew, for keeping us safe and making sure we had a great time.
✨ Haqqy Life Boracay – Where strangers become friends, and every sunset feels...
Read moreI was supposed to join the Haqqylife sunset party, but then I met Ivan from haqqylife on my first day! and it felt like we’d known each other from before lol! He told me about the river adventure, and honestly, I was really really skeptical. I’m an introvert, not great at making friends, and too shy to join group activities.
But guess what? I ended up celebrating my birthday with them, and it was so much fun! I’m really glad I went!! no regrets at all. Thanks to Camille and Ivan, since they are the one who told me that I need to join.
MC, Kaye, and Kuya J made the trip so enjoyable for everyone. I seriously hope they get a raise or they are paid well!! they’re really amazing.
I’ve already booked another adventure tour in El Nido. Since I made so many new friends because of this trip. I realized that even I am traveling solo, you’ll never truly feel alone. 🫶💖 Strangers turn into besties for a day. And that’s the kind of magic this trip had.
Ivan, if you are reading this. See you...

The crew was amazing, great atmosphere on the boat, music, drinks, swimming stops and great views. Ideal for solo travellers who want to make new friends. We didn't get to stop at the cliff jumping point due to the weather conditions unfortunately, but had a fun basketball game on another island, and were refunded the entrance fee for the cliff after the tour. Lunch is included and...
