I've been to Boracay countless times, and almost every time I stayed at a different resort. Have been to higher end ones in Stn 1 and mid-end ones in Stn 2. And this is the resort where I've decided to go back again and again, and recommend to people on a budget. And guess what, most people I recommended it too ended up staying here again.||||LOCATION - Top reason I love the place - location is just perfect. It's on station 1 but not too far off the quiet end. If you want the quiet area of station 1, it's close by. And if you want to walk to stn 2 for the partying or D'mall, it;s also a close walk. I stayed at a few high end resorts on the quiet end of stn 1 before and I felt it was just too isolated and a long walk to stn 2 in case I need something urgent. What's best is that Boracay Plaza is right across the church and you don't have to walk far to get on a trike (so I'm okay to bring my trolley bag).||||Rooms - Okay, if you're expecting a 3-star hotel, this isn't the one. It has a simple yet comfortable bed with clean sheets but that's it. But I'm still rating this excellent because my expectations were matched. After all, the room was affordable - I wouldn't expect a 3-star room for the price I am paying for. If you're iffy with linen, you may want to bring your own beddings and towels as they are quite old. I have friends who aren't too iffy, but I used my own towel.||||Bathroom - Clean. Working shower head. With heater. You just have to ask for a refill of supplies. ||||Service - They will clean the room upon request. Again, this isn't like 5-star or chain hotel so don't expect that level. However, the staff are extremely friendly. The last time I was there I stayed for 5 days, and they were very nice and accommodating.||||Wifi - Good wifi in common areas but not in rooms.||||View - Beachfront property so if you're willing to pay the premium, you can get a room with a view.||||In-house resto - They just serve short orders and drinks. Suggest you eat outside -- Jonah's is right beside it, and really good restos are within a 3-minute walk.||||Breakfast - Plated bfast where you don't really get options but it's good enough to fill your tummy until lunch. If you're a fan of big breakfasts, you may opt to skip it. As for me and my group, we would have their breakfast, and then have a nice fancy lunch and dinner outside. Coffee is just three-in-one so you may want to buy your brewed coffee elsewhere.||||They have cabanas!!! I loved that, we just hung out there the whole day.||||Overall:||I would recommend this to people on a budget and those staying in Boracay for more than a few days. For those who are used to, and can pay for, higher-end hotels, there are plenty of other...
Read moreThis hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Right in front of the the beach in Station 1. I stayed during NYE so was a busy time, but Boracay is now heavily saturated with tourists. So I prefered Station 1 as it was a little less crowded, also close to all the tour boats and activities. The American style breakfast was good, bacon and eggs, nothing fancy. The sea food and coconut was all fresh and delicious. The rooms were simple but clean, the door on my place was literally falling apart but had no security issues. There is a cheap laundry next door, and a supermarket just a few minutes walk. Don't use the general store next door, has inflated tourist prices. Also only a few minutes walk from D Mall. There is also a massage parlour inside the hotel. The owner and staff were very friendly and accomodating. They played music really loud at night but wasn't too bad. Overall I enjoyed my stay. You can check out my video of the hotel and...
Read moreThe place is YES, very simple. not luxurious type simply because it's affordable (I can't understand while people demand for a fabulous room when they paid little amount at all? you have a lot of choices people, there is no room for your fussy attitude! HAHA ). however, the resort marked a wonderful memory in our stay! The Owner is very nice. She makes sure that all the guest are comfortable. She even asked us if we wanna drink outside the resort so she could provide us chairs and table. When we're eating, she initially asks if our food is good, if what she'll prepare for Lunch, dinner etc.. She even booked as going to a private place so we could've see another part of boracay! we only had 3 days stay and as I prepare my things going back to manila, I got a hug and as the owner says "Balik kayo dito! (Go back here!)" -Yes Mam! will definetly go back! The bottom line here is a travel with great company! Imagine a luxurious place but the people are not good? It will of course, ruin the...
