Please save yourself from booking this shabby hotel. I tried posting this review in Agoda but somehow it looks like the management has capability to hide “honest” reviews. I regret booking this hotel instead of my first choice accommodation. Although the price may be alluring, it is not worth it. The positive 1. strategically situated in Station 2. DMall is about a one to two minute walk away. 2. very courteous personnel The negative 1. dirty and moldy rooms 2. dirty pool 3. absense of a bidet Let me share our experience: Room 218 on the second floor's end served as our initial lodging. If you want to get some early sleep, avoid booking this room because you will hear the night bands from the Feliz Hotel/D mall plaza from the shower. The bathroom door frame was eaten by termites (yep, they didn’t bother replacing it) and the shower heater wasn't delivering a hot shower. I killed a large cockroach that was scurrying about the cups and saucers during our first night. I skipped changing rooms because I was too weary from flight. My mother and I frequently woke up sporadically in dawn to the sound of the AC. Our sleep was disturbed because of the strange noise that it made at random. Due of all the inconveniences, I requested a different room in the morning. We received 209, absolutely a better room layout than 218, and AC sound is significantly better. but not too long, it gave another set of problems. The main door knob isn't locking, and the worst of all… the flush isn’t working. I asked for a refund but was told that they were keeping to Agoda's non-refundable policy (a hard lesson to learn that don't book any 2 or less star shabby hotel through Agoda). After so much debate with reservations, they finally gave us room 206, which is ok in terms of AC sound, door knob, flush, shower.. except the room phone isn’t working.. but that’s fine i don’t think i’ll need it. 206 is full of molds… in ceiling,in chairs, etc.. but it was way better than our first two rooms. Obviously with all this experience, it’s definitely not worth 2500php. And please don’t tell me im expecting too much for the price, who wants to stay in a moldy, dirty clean room for vacation??? This place has a lot of potential (size and location wise) but they are not operationally ready. I don’t know how many people get trapped by this shabby place, but my advise is save yourself from stress and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.. or if you’ve really got no choice and you’re booking bec of it’s price, maybe stay out of the room most of the time and set your expectations very very very low.

Do not stay here!!!! Worst hotel ever in my whole life of travels. Plenty of pics to tell the story. Add ons that I do not have pics of. -breakfast buffet sitting ice cold with no sterinol fire keeping trays hot nor any staff present ever in 6 days of eating it. -they did not make up my room once in the 6 days, so when I finished my complimentary coffee packs on day 1, that was all!! And just made it on my 1 roll of tp that was sitting on top of the toilet. -neighbour's a/c leaking onto my entry tile. Major slip Hazzard. I asked them to fix it, they emptied the bucket under it which refilled in 3 hours for the balance of trip, it stayed that way. -signage advertising lunch and dinner buffets. They did not have ever. -very dark, unlit path to popular D'Mall area. Concrete block stepping stones uneven and cracked. Another trip hazard. No security anytime of day or night. Easy access for undesirables. -cockroach the size of my thumb living in my enclosed, dark (they had a curtain but it was filthy and rigged not to open) sitting/coffee room area. -the mattress, was years old with tears in it, blackened deep holes where the stuffing fell out. Looked like caves for tiny unwanted critters. -how to explain the bathroom?? Almost impossible. The shower trim and faucets rusted beyond recognition, the shower tiles so stained with dirt and calcium, non existing tp holder, floors dirty and sandy from last visitor, sink just disgusting, on and on.... - the pics of my room (I will post on Google photos on their website) just cannot explain the filth, smell, pure unsanitary conditions. If I could give this hotel no stars, I would. The only 2 positives I witnessed is that it is located 2 minutes from the beachfront (but there are over 30 hotels right on the beachfront), and one staff member was very helpful and pleasant ( I had only seen her there 2 of my 6 days). Other than those, any of my concerns were held on deaf ears. Remember, no refunds once you have made the purchase!

This hotel is run-down. Some rooms and 2 buildings are in need of repairs or, in the case of the buildings, needed to be finished. It looks like construction has been abandoned. The hotel is not clean. Some floors needed to be mopped. The dining hall restroom stinks so much that I can not use it. I asked one of the service people there, and he said it would be cleaned later. Their beach towels are old and thinning. The bath towels are old, thinning, and stained. The hallway in our hotel room is always turned off. The swimming pool needed cleaning. The path to the D'Mall looks like a scary jungle path. The receptionist was not very friendly. The hotel kind of stinks in different places. The breakfast buffet is ordinary. It looks and tastes like hospital food. They have some brewed coffee, and they have 3 in 1 coffee, but they did not provide any hot water. Too many cats are all over the dining hall. place is in desperate need of good landscaping. There are so many areas where dead leaves and branches are just piled up. I think this should be a 2-star hotel and not the 3.4 stars they are advertising. Terrible. Stay at your own risk.

We stayed here during on our honeymoon and at first were given a room with 2 single beds. When we went back to the front desk to remind them we were on our honeymoon, (after much argument and back and forth with their staff) they tried to put us in a room with 2 double beds. Again, not ideal on your honeymoon. We went back to talk to the front desk again and were told they were fully booked and had no other rooms. When my husband asked them to "think outside the box and see what they can offer", they said they can upgrade us to a room with 2 queen beds, but for a fee (are you kidding?!). At this point we were frustrated and just wanted to get settled in so we paid the upgrade fee of P9,000 for our 3 night stay.

Upon arrival in our new room, we went to use the bathroom and found it to be DISGUSTING. I mean, pubic hairs in the tub and on the toilet, hair and dirt on the floor, and layers of grime on the shower walls. As if the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a month. We had housekeeping come immediately to take care of it and felt sorry for the houseboy who ended up having to douse the entire bathroom in bleach and scrub for 30 minutes (we tipped him for his efforts). Our room stunk of bleach of the next 2 hours, yipee. Oh yeah, and the bed linens had stains on them (thank goodness the sheets didn't) and we found a dead cockroach by the tv stand.

The breakfast buffet was mediocre (ie: edible, but not yummy). We swam in their pool ONCE only to come out smelling like every guest had peed in the pool. The grounds of the resort were littered with garbage, including guest hallways, sitting areas, and walkways. The fountain at the main lobby was a cesspool and mosquito breeding spot.

The only positive thing I can say about this place is that they are centrally located inside D-Mall and it was quiet considering this and a quick walk to the beach. I will NEVER stay here again and will make sure to tell my friends and family to avoid this place. The front desk staff (3 girls) need to take a course in hospitality management and customer...
