My stay at your hotel from July 26-28, 2025, was unfortunately marred by significant inconsistencies in your front desk service regarding early check-in.Upon my arrival around 10:00 AM, I requested an early check-in (standard check-in time is 3:00 PM) from a staff member identified as a "Team Head." She assured me that I would be contacted via the number provided on my check-in form as soon as a room became available. I waited in the pool area, expecting to be notified. At 11:30 AM, I returned to the reception. As the "Team Head" was assisting other guests, I approached another staff member to inquire about my assigned room. After I provided my first name, she briefly checked her computer and stated the room was still being prepared by housekeeping. When I pressed for the specific room number and provided my full name, she then identified it as Room 509. This indicated that she had not accurately checked the room's status during her initial inquiry, which was my first concern regarding misinformation.I then proceeded to the gym until 12:30 PM. At approximately 12:45 PM, while I went up the 5th floor, I encountered a housekeeping staff member and asked if Room 509 was available. To my surprise, the housekeeper confirmed that it was. This contradicted the earlier information from the front desk and suggested the room had been ready for some time.My friend and I returned to the lobby around 2:55 PM after lunch. A new shift of reception staff was present. When I asked if my room was available, the new staff member confirmed it was. I then inquired why I hadn't received a message, to which she responded that housekeeping had "just" finished. This directly conflicted with what the housekeeping staff had told me earlier.I explained to her that I knew Room 509 had been available since 12:45 PM and that I had been promised notification, which was never received. The staff member then asked who had promised me to be notified (at which point I realized the "Team Head" from the morning wore a distinct uniform). She then stated there were additional fees for early check-in requests. This was particularly frustrating, as this crucial information was never disclosed to me during my two prior inquiries that morning. In summary, my experience highlighted two critical issues: * Misleading Information: Guests should receive accurate information regarding room availability and early check-in policies. Fabricating stories or providing incorrect updates is unacceptable. * Lack of Professionalism from Leadership: The conduct of the "Team Head," particularly the lack of transparency regarding early check-in fees and the failure to follow through on the promise of notification, falls short of expected customer service standards for a reputable hotel.I also requested the complete names of the staff involved during check-in and again when I was going to my room, but this information was never provided to me during my two-day stay.FYI, airconditioning unit malfunctioning from 3-5pm. Boracay, the island paradise known for its pristine beaches and vibrant nightlife, is home to a plethora of hotels catering to every traveler's needs. But amidst the sea of options, Hue Hotel and Resorts stands out, offering a unique blend of comfort, convenience, and a touch of island charm. Our recent stay at Hue was a delightful experience, leaving us with a smile on our faces and a longing for a return trip.
Let's start with the location, which is a major plus. Hue is strategically situated on the main road, making it easily accessible for those who want to explore the island's diverse offerings. E-trikes, the ubiquitous island transport, are readily available, ensuring hassle-free commuting. And if you're craving the white sands and turquoise waters of Station 2 White Beach, a leisurely 10-minute walk will take you there.
Beyond its convenient location, Hue boasts a plethora of amenities that cater to every whim and desire. From the sparkling, clean pool to the well-equipped gym, there's something for everyone. The hotel also features a restaurant, shops, and a spa, all within its premises, offering a delightful array of options for relaxation and entertainment.
Speaking of relaxation, the rooms at Hue are a haven of comfort. Spacious and impeccably clean, they are equipped with all the essentials for a truly enjoyable stay. The beds are a dream come true, with soft pillows and ergonomic mattresses that will lull you into a blissful slumber. And the complimentary coffee, water, soap, and conditioner, all refillable, are a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall experience.
The hotel staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They are friendly, polite, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Housekeeping is quick and efficient, with requests fulfilled in a flash. And the room attendants are so friendly, they even introduce you to all the room amenities, making you feel right at home.
The breakfast buffet is another highlight of Hue. Offering a wide array of delicious food, with generous servings, it's a feast for the senses. The pool is clean and refreshing, with no chlorine smell, and a lifeguard on duty for added safety.
While Hue offers a truly exceptional experience, no hotel is perfect. There are a few minor drawbacks that are worth mentioning. The check-in time is a bit late at 3 PM, and although early check-in was allowed for one room, the other room was only available at 3:30 PM. There is also no designated smoking area on every floor, and drying wet clothes can be a challenge due to limited options.
Despite these minor inconveniences, Hue Hotel and Resorts Boracay provides an excellent experience with top-notch amenities, friendly staff, and a convenient location. We highly recommend Hue for a truly "Hue-mazing" vacation experience!

Read moreThis is a classic example of a hotel that the guest is not important, only the money! On the first night after a long day of travel we discovered that the water in the shower was cold, we called reception and they sent a technician who said that this was the water temperature in the hotel, it is very cold water that we cannot shower in. When I went down to reception they said there was a problem and they will fix it. Nevertheless, they moved us to a room that also had cold water, I asked to cancel the rest of the days because I refused to pay so much money to the resort where the water was cold, but they refused on the grounds that the reservation was made through Booking and therefore they cannot cancel. The room we got had stains on the sheets and they were dirty. The day after that I went to the reception and told them that we had stains on the sheets and the water was still cold, they changed the sheets and that was it. When we asked again about the cold water, they sent a technician who checked the water and said he would be back in twenty minutes, it's been three days and I still haven't seen him! We left the hotel the night before because of the terrible service we received there and because of the cold water. Already on the first day we contacted Booking to cancel our stay there and Booking claimed that the hotel was not responding to them, only after three days did Booking receive a reply from them that the hotel claims that they moved us to a room and the problem was resolved, even though, as written, we complained later in our stay and even sent a technician! Once they got the money they didn't care about their customers or the complaints. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this hotel because if you have a problem you will have no one to turn to! A hotel that calls itself a resort and charges so much money for accommodation should have normal customer service that does not look down on its customers. It is better to book a room in Hanan Resort, significantly...
