Came with a party of 15. Upon arrival we got sat immediately, which was great. That is the only thing that was great from that point on. We ordered php 7600 worth of food so the experience I received was unimaginable. First we ordered water for our tables. That took at least 35 minutes to get if not longer. We had to ask at least 5 times. Our server looked clueless and was walking around aimlessly. Our food was delivered one meal at a time about every 2 minutes. So imagine 12 people eating and still no drinks. Pictures for reference. For obvious reasons I was very annoyed and frustrated having to ask that many times. Good took so long we canceled two dinners because we were all done eating, and the food had not arrived. We canceled a picture of drink because after an hour that had not arrived.

Then the worst part. A man who we believe was the owner or manager approached and stared at me. Then said, and I quote “you think it’s easy to cook the food in the kitchen while you wait here doing nothing” I was in disbelief as I thought he was coming over to apologize for the slow service but to my astonishment when you realize you’re getting yelled at because they’re taking long.

Disregard the positive reviews. They offer to provide free dessert if you give them a review and show them. So naturally people won’t give their true experience if they’re trying to get...

Somewhat bleak. Tired looking self-serve part, evidently you are not allowed to share what you bought?!? They have special share plates around 300-400php. Nothing was good. Lacklustre cooking, no spices or herbs, pork belly in almost everything, or boiled egg. Peasant food. For that much too expensive. The watermelon juice was ok. The strawberry juice was fake using syrup. The beer was ok, but it was bottled. I can not recommend anything. Mostly because we could not order from the funny buffet thing where you pay for each item and portion anyway. It is not even all you can eat! That is the stupidest rule ever. I can not stop my child from tasting what I buy and have paid for. Example: a lumpia costs about 20pesos. I buy five. I eat two. I am then ordered to throw away the uneaten ones? Will I get a guard if I take them home? What if I give my kid one there? Does he have to pay for it again? Or do they call the tourist police?

Edit: after returning to the hotel after dinner I had severe liquid diarrhea. I sat for about two hours in discomfort. My partner was mildly nauseous, and next day could not eat, and had severe bowel pain. We almost missed our...

I agree that the food was excellent. However the service was almost non-existent. Not rude, just epically slow and forgetful. I gave them one star for service because you cannot select zero stars. The first time we went we had to remind the waitress twice to bring our drinks. They eventually arrived after our food. When we were finished we had to go to the back of the restaurant to ask for the bill. They were not busy. There was more staff than customers. They just never came to the front where we were. The food was great and the location excellent so we tried again the next day. We order a banana shake and a mango shake. Only the banana shake came. We had to go find the waitress and remind her about the mango shake. I eventually got another banana shake. It was excellent, just not what we order. Again, the place was basically empty. Honestly how hard do you have to try to mess up a two-shake order. Decide not to go again because three strikes...

Just our 2nd day in Bora and we already miss our Momma's home cooked meals! After a couple of Google search and a Trike away from our hotel we found Haraan Boracay! We had Sinigang, Tuna Salpicao and the star of our dinner, Pakbet! Almost in every bite, Elly and I was wondering, "Anong meron sa food? Ang sarap!" only to find out that we asked the wrong question. So apparently they don't add artificial flavorings (walang dinagdag, may tinanggal, ehem..msg 🫢) hence why you'd taste the natural flavor of each ingridients! This on top of the friendly staff, big serving and fast cooking time made our 2nd day dinner an experience worthy despite of the gloomy weather. And Oh, the Biko Turon is a must try too--not too sweet but chocolatey! Pag yung gutom mo and cravings for home cooked pinoy meals nagsabay while you are in Boracay, go here in Haraan and trust me, you will be satisfied!

If you’re looking for a memorable an all-day spot in Boracay, Haraan Restaurant is a must-visit. Their breakfast menu is absolutely delicious, offering a variety of Filipino dishes that are both comforting and full of flavor. What stands out most is the unique and appealing presentation of the food—each plate looks like a work of art. One highlight is their generous selection of condiments, especially the bagoong (fermented shrimp paste), which adds an authentic and savory kick to many dishes. It’s clear that great care is taken not just in taste, but in creating a rich cultural experience. Don’t leave without trying their halo-halo—it’s superb. Perfectly layered, refreshingly cold, and not overly sweet, it’s the ideal treat after a day in the sun. Haraan delivers both quality and character, making it a standout dining experience on the island.
