El Puerto Boracay — Hotel in Malay

Overall a bad experience, no sleep more than 1 hour at time for whole night. several issues, some needs staff and hotel to improve, some just bad neighbors out of their control. Bad hotel facility and management: Fire alarm going off for over an hour more than 10 times near mid night, need to find issue and correct timely, failed by staff. (No fire) Phoneline to call front desk never works, have to claim down 4, 5 flight of stairs just to request something. Facility is not very good, no shampoo in room (provided later upon request) , definitely no air dryer, bathroom can smell, mosquitoes, no locker for valuables. Stains on sheets. Door very hard to close, requires slamming Everytime to close, every room, can hardly sleep as people slam their door all night.

Limited control by staff (issues out of their hand): 3 separate rooms partying for more than a few hours at 3 to 5 am, should at least manage better and tell them to stop without guest complain, they are very loud, hotel staff for sure can hear.

Only thing ok is staff is attentive, but hard to address all of the negatives of this hotel.

Gave management chances to compensate, they refuses, so here is the factual review of what happened, don't recommend at all, avoid...

We enjoyed our stay here, a 10 Minute Tricycle drive from the pier, and easy to find once you get oriented with the area.||Close to the Beach and the Police station so easy landmarks to find the place.||Certainly Modern and the check in was nice and fast, Once in the room, the bed was comfortable, although they might need to change the shower curtain, which I did point out as I was checking out.||Some Mould on there unfortunately dotted on the shower curtain up the your Waistline.||So we tucked that one out of our way when in the shower which is spacious.||Nice and Quiet area, as you are couple of Minutes away from the beach, and the view from out window was that of back of a sign on the balcony which we had a laugh about once we looked at the view.||Slept well, and Enjoyed the breakfast that was served promptly and tasted very good.||Close to the Mall there and very centralized area of the hotel.|| Asking for Directions is easy once you find the Police station by the beach where to go.||Nice place, but Next time I will look for something with a...

Stayed here during our visit to Boracay and found the hotel’s location quite good. It’s hidden in a small alley along with it’s neighbouring hotels, there’s a local convenience store in the alley towards the hotel as well which is handy. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk away from the beach front. It’s just a few steps away from La Carmela De Boracay (for those wondering of its location). |The staff are friendly and helpful. For quite a small hotel, the pool and jacuzzi was a nice touch. The rooms are quite small but is more than enough for 2 people in my opinion. The little balcony was also nice, but since there was construction going on behind the hotel during our stay, we didn’t really use it. |For those that are heavily reliant on the wi-fi, i suggest that you ask for a room on the lower floors (2nd & 3rd), as the wifi on the higher floors are very weak. |The breakfast included is decent enough. |All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, friendly staff, definitely affordable/ budget friendly and is in a good location, so no...
