My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aloha Boracay for six nights during the summer, and our experience was nothing short of fantastic! The hotel offered an incredible balance of comfort, accessibility, and top-notch service, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Boracay.
Exceptional Service and Helpful Tour Guide
One of the standout features of Aloha Boracay is its exceptional staff. They were friendly, attentive, and always went the extra mile to ensure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. A unique perk of this hotel is the tour guide available right at the lobby. If you’re new to Boracay and unsure of what to do, this is your safest bet. The tour guide, while affiliated with the hotel, is not an employee and provides valuable service by arranging activities for guests without the risk of being overcharged by the street vendors. We found this to be a far more cost-effective option than booking activities online through platforms like Klook or KKday.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take full advantage of the price difference since we hadn’t brought enough cash and forgot to unlock our bank cards for international withdrawals. If you’re planning a trip, be sure to prepare for this in advance!
Convenient Payment Options
Another great aspect of Aloha Boracay is its flexibility with payments. If you don’t like the hassle of paying for each service individually during your stay, you can ask to charge everything to your room. This option comes at no extra cost and allows you to settle all expenses in one go at the end of your stay, which we found extremely convenient.
Rooftop Bar, Restaurant, and Breakfast Options
The rooftop bar is a must-visit! The atmosphere is lively, the views are stunning, and the staff are just as fantastic as those throughout the rest of the hotel. The restaurant also offers a good selection, although I wasn’t particularly a fan of the breakfast choices. I ended up sticking to fresh foods like vegetables and fruits, accompanied by tea, coffee, or even a beer or two.
Comfort, Accessibility, and Some Minor Noise
While the hotel does not offer activities itself, it excels in comfort and accessibility, making it an excellent base for exploring Boracay. One minor downside is the noise level during the day. The doors are not airtight or particularly thick, so you may occasionally hear other guests in the halls. This could be a consideration if you’re looking for a super quiet or romantic stay—especially if you’re on a honeymoon! 😅
Final Thoughts
Overall, Aloha Boracay was a wonderful place to stay, with its amazing staff, convenient amenities, and strategic location. Whether you’re here to explore Boracay or simply relax, this hotel provides an excellent balance of value, comfort, and accessibility.

Read moreI booked 4 Deluxe Twin Rooms for 2 nights for my family of 16 (12 adults, 3 kids, and an infant). Their service really stood out for me even if I only dealt with the property virtually. I was not one of the guests, but their service is exceptional.
SERVICE: Throughout the whole transaction, I communicated with Odessa through a famous online travel agency. Since my family visited Boracay to celebrate my nephew’s birthday, I asked the hotel if they have any complimentary items for their guests who celebrate their birth month during their stay. Initially, Odessa told me that they currently do not have, but she told me that they could prepare a greeting card for my nephew and put it in his room. I was delighted for the offer, but I did not expect that during their first day in the property, they actually prepared a beautiful cake complete with birthday dedication and greeting card. Even myself was surprised with their effort.
ROOM: Their Deluxe Twin Room is spacious. It’s perfect for adult guests of 3 or even a family of 4. Air-condition system in my family’s rooms were working well. Their hot and cold showers also worked properly during their stay. However, for this type of room, it does not come with a dental kit. I asked Odessa about it. Good enough, she gave my family a one-time set up of toothbrush kits that they used throughout their stay.
LOCATION: As per my family’s experience, they love the location of the hotel. There are lots of stores nearby, and white beach is just within walking distance from the property.
Additionally, their buffet breakfast during my family’s two-day stay in the hotel was great. They had filipino cuisine, and the menus were not the same for two days.
Overall, my family enjoyed their stay in the property. And although I did not personally stayed in the hotel, I felt that my family members were happy for the experience.
Lastly, I really appreciate the whole team especially Odessa for rendering an exceptional service to their...
Read moreWe had the best stay here in Aloha Boracay Hotel!
The staff at the front desks were very accommodating and welcomed us warmly when we arrived early. Although the check in time was at 3pm, we were able to check in early (free of charge!) and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxed and all dressed up for the beach. It felt like the hotel wasn’t cramped and crowded. Although our request to have a connecting room wasn’t honored, we had rooms that are really close to each other. It doesn’t really affect our stay that much.
They don’t skimp on our requests for more water, towels, or coffee packs when needed. Our rooms were cleaned when we asked to. A 10/10 service imho.
The breakfast buffet that comes with our stay was worth it. We were full for the whole morning until lunch time! We wish they have more protein but the options were still scrumptious. Since we’re checking out super early and won’t be making it to our last breakfast buffet, they provided us some breakfast sandwich, boiled egg, banana, and drinks. We didn’t leave empty handed and starving!
The location can be a let down as it is not as near to the places we’d like to visit around D Mall. But, it’s also a great chance to walk on the beachside and to see some nice food spots around. They will also call a trike for you if needed. Not to mention the place is very close to two 7/11s!
The best part is their Mahalo Sky Bar at the rooftop. We visited here almost every night of our stay. The bartenders were very nice and entertaining. We enjoyed the swimming pool as we’re always the only people there lol!
Overall, we enjoyed every bit of our stay in Aloha. It made our vacation so much more meaningful, hassle-free, and fun 😍 Worth...
