It was the most disappointing stay during my 3 weeks trip to Philippines!I book a room with a pool view, wanted to rest at a pool in the end of my trip. BUT! The hotel changed types of rooms right before my arrival and provided me a room with parking view for the same price! I paid additional for the pool room :(.Ok…maybe it could be ok. BUT the hotel was under renovation!!! They had dust and construction materials everywhere, it was loud, all the dust went to a pool, nobody could test there! They said we are sorry it is just until 5 pm…but I planned to stay at a pool during sunshine, am I wrong? So I couldn’t stay outside the room.Ok…I thought I’ll take more tours then and rest in the room….No that wasn’t possible either! I had to call reception for everything…kettle didn’t work, safe didn’t work, tv needed some settlement, wi fi didn’t work in the room…they promised to solve it but I had to remind many times and wait wait wait…just waste my vacation time. After 2 days of this…I woke up earlier one day, turned on the light and I saw lots of huge cockroaches everywhere!!! Just disgusting!!! I complained about it and the staff wasn’t surprised at all. While I was on a day tour they used spray in the room every where and promised me that it won’t smell. But it smelled awful I am not sure it was safe to stay there at all…;(My stay in the hotel was awful. I definitely do to recommend it. I said to yeh staff they have provide me discounts for that or any compliment but they didn’t care at all. It seems all the problems just normal for the hotel. I stayed with my family there in a high season and unfortunately couldn’t pay for one more place to stay….i would never return there. The place...
Read moreUpon arrival I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. Very nice and kind.
I was shown to tje room, kinda all the way in the back. Past some construction scraps place, and, I guess, some staff parking.
The room is nice, tiled floors, aircon kitchenette.
First time opening the door to the bathroom I was greeted by a gecko, nice with a pet animal here 😉
Later there was a GIANT spider.in the room, that was less nice to have there.
The toilet is functioning very well... Meaning it flushes fine. Which is not that obvious here in the Philippines.
The shower though is not so good. The holder for the hand held showerhead is broken, so you have to hold the Showerhead during the entire shower. Ohh there is a rainshower head as well.... But that does not distribute the water, all the water just come out of one corner of the showerhead. So you still have to hold the hand held showerhead during the entire shower.
Ohh and there was not warm water. The first day i managed. But the next day I went to reception to tell..they said.tjey would send maintenance, but they never came. So second day also with cold water. I asked reception again to tell maintenance to look at it, and this time the kind maintenance tech came right away....but even though they did fix right there and the , there was only hot water for like 5 minutes out of the total of 7 days I was there.
Ohhhh yeah. Also the curtains are see through. So if you have the light on at night. Anyone from the outside can see you in your bed.
The hotel seems worn down. But the staff is what lifts this place up. So warm and kind, always smiling and helpful, offering to help, offering you to join in the kareoke or dinner. Thank you so...
Read moreWe absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It has everything we could ask for - conveniently located within walking distance of all the nearby convenience stores and restaurants, spacious rooms, and even offers food delivery upon request. The quick laundry service and motorbike rentals were a fantastic bonus.
We stayed here for over 5 days while my partner was under the weather. The simplicity of the room combined with its generous space made it incredibly comfortable for our extended stay. The air conditioning actually kept the room cold and the hot water in the shower never ran out, EXTREMELY FAST and unthrottled wifi, unlike many of the other hotels we stayed at in the philippines. The large balcony with tinted/reflective patio doors added an extra layer of privacy and gave us a pretty, rose-tinted view of the surroundings while blocking out the harsh rays of the sun.
The standout feature, however, was the exceptional service provided by the woman at the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful, and her English made communication a breeze. When we asked about where we could get drinkable water during our stay, she let us purchase a large 5L bottles from behind the bar. This was very thoughtful as my partner was sick and I didn't want to leave him. The attention to guest needs truly set this hotel apart.
We highly recommended Harmony Hotel if you are looking for spacious rooms, cold AC, fast internet, great location, motorbike rentals, laundry service and an attentive, english...
