First if all, the place is located right on the main street leading to Alona beach, and it's very noisy day and night (for those who might care). Second, no Wi-Fi in the room, and barely working one on the porch, so you have to sit on a hard wooden bench in the pool area if you want to use internet. Third, when we arrived and checked in into our room with "garden view" we found out that our view is the wall of the room in front, shared "porch", which is more like a narrow alley filled with hanging laundry. When we asked the staff politely about the "garden view" mismatch, the two receptionists instead of offering a solution directly started to blame it on us, saying that we (I quote) "didn't request a garden view". In my understanding, if it's written in the room description, it's included, and there was no note about requesting it anywhere. Clearly, they just wanted to get rid of me without fixing anything. All I wanted is to be moved to another room. They didn't propose that, so I asked if they had another room with a proper porch available, they rudely said no, that's all we have and turned away. After I asked again if there is anything available tomorrow or the day after, or even a different type of room, finally with very annoyed attitude admitted that there is one tomorrow that we could move to. Clearly, my trust is already shaken, so I asked them to see the room first. They made a whole scene about this, but finally showed me the room next to ours, which was better. The restaurant has similar service. We ordered 3 dishes, it took 40 minutes for them to bring one of them, and it was wrong. We sent it back, waited another 15 minutes and finally got all our food, which was very mediocre. Really not with the price and the waiting. After all this we really didn't want to stay in this place, so we booked another hotel, and went to tell them that we will be checking out. Got shouted at again saying that our booking is not refundable. Forget it. Even the swimming pool, the only nice thing about this hotel, couldn't be enjoyed because of the construction next door. The workers would stare from the roof and one even got down and was peeping over the fence...

The place is nice, but no parking facilies for cars - restaurant staff are also rude. I really like the place, it's just disappointing that they're advertising it having car park but it doesn't have one. I don't know whose fault it is but they indicated that it has parking area so it's a really big bummer to find another area to park (for a fee). Part of their overview says "The hotel offers access to a vast array of services, including ... car park ..." and it's really deceiving. I really like the place, its location, its facilities but the parking area really made me disappointed. Their resto also have rude staff who ignored us even after we called them a lot of times so that we can order. So instead of eating at their resto which just within vicinity, we had to go to other place because of their treatment. I don't know what's going on with their mind on why they do that. The place don't have a visible sign outside so it's really hard to find it if you just look at the signages. If not for those issues, this should've been a 5-star review. As usual, when we check out accommodations, we always look for availability of food within the area, clean comfort room and good parking area. Food = ✓, Comfort Room = ✓, Parking Area = BIG NO NO

The place is a very quick walk to the beach, but as the resort name suggests, it is hidden away from the road. This is actually a good thing because this made it feel safer and quieter, esp. at night when drunk tourists and noisy bars abound. The pictures don’t justify it, but the pool was actually very good. Electric pot and towels were provided, but we had to buy our own shampoo, soap, water. I guess it’s worth noting as well that there isn’t a refrigerator available in the room. It seems most rooms come with a front porch with a small plastic table and 2 chairs - we loved how we could hang out at these when we are still wet from swimming, but still have a sense of privacy. There is no facility within the resort to get any food, but there is a small grocery and souvenir shop connected to the resort and also a 7-11 right in front. There are a ton of options for dining, many open for 24 hours and a lot also start breakfast as early as 7am. They were quite strict with the check-in time, but they did allow us to leave our bags at the reception office so this was not an issue. Overall, great value for money and I wouldn’t mind staying here again at all.
