We came in excited and came out disappointed. We were the 2nd table to arrive last night around 6'30. The staff was very friendly and professional. Since the paella is good for 2-3 people, we just decided to take 2 different main course which is recommended by the waiter. It takes more than 35 mins to serve a medium rare steak and the fish that we ordered (I forgot the exact name of the dish). The foods were not served at the same time. Fish was served first and the steak came few minutes after. The steak arrived completely well done, dry and not tender. We complained and said we will not take that considering the long waiting and yet the food was served not right. The waiter said the chef admit the mistake and will give a discount. We refuse because that is unacceptable. I thought the owner was behind the kitchen to control the food as per reading one of the comments. He never came out to apologized. My fish was okay. We changed the steak to burger because said that will be faster but disappointingly after our complaint, our burger was served last even we were the 2nd customer to arrive. The burger bun was served wet. Churros, house wine and sangria were good. Maybe if we ordered Paella it could've been better as per reading the reviews but last night was a very slow service and we came out...
Read moreI am not giving 5 stars due to the high price of the Paella. I have eaten plenty of Paella in my life and this is by far the most expensive For the quality. By this I mean I got about 3 small shrimp, 4-5 small muscles and a bit of squid. A lot of rice though. The flavor was great! But disappointed in the amount of seafood in the seafood paella. I paid over 550P for 2 portions of Paella and mango shake. You can’t order a single paella which I’m not surprised about. The size of 2 portions of Paella is a tad small for my liking. I would come here again since the rice was very flavorful but if you are expecting an abundance of seafood (I was expecting that since we are on an island haha) you will be disappointed. Overall the view, the flavor and kind service deserves a solid 4 stars. I will come again and recommend to my friends if I am craving Spanish tasting food. I will next time maybe add more seafood even if it costs more money since the chef knows what...
Read moreThe resto is located at Panglao CBD's main parking area, below a 2 storey structure where the 2nd floor advertises massage in gaudy lights. Their old original location on the 2nd floor of a stand-alone wooden structure that is still being posted is a bit misleading. Outside and closed-door seatings were available. It was a bit loud during dinner as it was just beside the plaza's stage where a band and fire dancers were performing. We had pulpo parmentiere, mediterranean salad, albondigas con sepia, fritura and a pitcher of their house's sangria. Coming from a keto low salt diet, I find everything I eat to be too salty, but even with that predilection, I found the food we ordered here overwhelmingly underseasoned, and I don't want to insult the chef by asking for a salt shaker. The sangria though was something else, it was refreshing and light and gave that perfect 'buzz' to quickly forget about the imperfection of the meal. Bill came...
