Bing's Place — Hotel in Pasay

I was excited to stay here for 1 night before my 8am flight. The excitement quickly vanished. There is no check in or reception area. You just walk up a tew flights of stairs and a lady shows you to a room. She didn't ask for my name or check my ID, I could have just walked in from the street.

The lady was absolutely lovely, she doesn't speak English but helped with my luggage and showed me on the map which way to walk to the airport (which is via the Runway by Belmont Hotel, took me 25 minutes to get there by foot but I had a very large heavy suitcase so might be quicker for those with smaller luggage).

I was just putting my head down to sleep when I heard scratching on my pillow and on the mattress and saw two mice. I moved to the other end of the bed but then one ran over my leg and I thought nope nope nope. I found the lady and she helped me move room (up another flight of stairs... tiring) when I grabbed my bag there were two more mice that had crawled inside and were scrambling about in my bag, I was horrified.

I eventually moved rooms upstairs and tell me why there were 3 huge cockroaches flying around. At this point it was 1am and I had to be up for my flight at 5am and just wanted to cry. The lady helped me get rid of the cockroaches (rip) and just as I was about to go to bed and sleep.. I heard the scratching and squeaking from the mice again. It was hell, I was looking to see if there was other accommodation to stay but at 2am it wasn't easy so l just had to lie there hoping for the best that I wouldn't get another mouse or cockroach near me.

So if cockroaches and mice aren't your thing, I wouldn't recommend. Lovely lady though. And very comfortable mattress (the mice clearly love...

Basic accommodation near the airport. To walk take the foot bridge over the road, it is signposted in the airport. Do not exit at ground level, otherwise you have to walk all the way to the entrance at the other end of the building.

The entrance looks rough, but the staff are friendly.

Room is a bit old, comes with a sink, kettle, sofa, tv and Aircon, bed was comfortable, no window in the room I had, the shower/toilet was shared.

There are many shops and restaurants...

Nice stay with a super nice host! Place is close to airport terminal 3 so it's a good choice if you are spending a night in Manila to get your next flight .In case you arrive on terminal 1 rather use the app grab or ask the host of bing's place to help to get you a ride. The taxi drivers at the airport gonna charge you way...
