Bielski Guesthouse — Hotel in Gdansk

!!!!!! Attention !!! The RECEPTIONIST did not accept my friend's paid room, her flight was late for a short time and before 12 at night she was already there at the reception! I paid for the room, there was my phone! He called me and began to be very politely rude, especially when he found out that she was going to Kyiv in the morning !!!!! Just rudely began to demand the time of her arrival in the room! I said how do I know! The phone is turned off, I don’t know where I will get this information from !!! In the end, he told her that I Was rude to him which is not true ! I have all evidence about call , what time she called me and said that she came there , I’m going to police in Sweden and to prove that call was accepted exactly there and exactly time ! I didn't say anything bad to him at all! I'm shocked !!! He simply drove an exhausted man out into the street with suitcases! Request to cancel your booking! Or he gonna cancel it because she wasn’t there!!!! SHE CALLED ME FROM RECEPTION BEFORE 00:00!!What is this for "hospitable service?!" She did not go there for free with an overnight stay! He said that he was from Belarus and when he found out that she was from Ukraine, he did it on purpose!!!!! Booking canceled the reservation, supposedly she did not come there at all !!!!!! !!!!!!!!! Know now!!!||such an intolerant and incompetent worker, and thank God! in my life I do not recommend anyone to stay there, this guest house is based on political views and is in no way neutral in terms of national attitude towards guests!||I’m going to send all these to Booking.com and to Facebook all over the world . If you want to spend a few days in Gdansk in high comfort, this place is highly recommended because of: Perfect location. The place is located basically on the main street and surrounded by nice restaurants and bars. It takes only 20 min by foot to reach a main station. Nice apartment. The apartment is very clean. Towel, soap and hairdryer are provided. The bathroom is for the common use and is very clean. On the third floor the huge terasse is available for the common use. Perfect place to drink a cup of coffee in the morning! On kitchen all nessesary stuff is available including coffee and tea. Friendly hosts. Host was answering messages very fast and I could check-in already in 1 hour after booking the place. At the first evening host gave a city recommendations, which were very useful. Breakfast in front of the door. Every morning i received breakfest in front of my door, which is very sweet and caring.

Overall, atmosphere was like at home....

6 people traveled to Gdansk in Poland and we stayed in Belski guesthouse for 3 nights. Booked two bedrooms with breakfast. Looks like this place has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Every bedroom is locked with key.||Place is not very easy to find on the first day. But it is in a good location - very close to the oldtown, near the riverside.||Breakfast - every morning there was basket left at the room door. Few buns, white bread, sausage, ham, cheese, butter and jam. Also - one fruit for each person. We prepared coffee by ourselves in the shared kitchen.||Everyday bathroom and other common areas of the guesthouse (wich looks like flat) were cleaned. Beds were comfortable. At night it was quiet - we stayed on weekend.||Would not recomend this place for people, who expect hotel-like. It's apartment and most likely you will have neighbours in...
