Muralha House — Hotel in Lagos

We decided to head to Lagos on the spur of the moment and were disappointed to learn our usual hotel was full. As we were on foot, we needed a central location and Muralha House ticks that box. On arrival we were let into the house by a disembodied voice on an intercom and instructed which room to go to - ground floor front. Our en suite room was very clean and modern but extremely small by Portuguese standards. It was fine for one night but I really wouldn't want to stay there for longer. Stayed for three nights and our every request was met! One day we had to go surfing so we would miss the breakfast times, so they packed our breakfast! The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and it was a great way to start the day. The rooms are basic,but have everything you need and seem to have been recently refurbished. They got cleaned every day and the place was spotless! Just a 2 min walk from the centre, would definitely recommend, very happy...

Uns hat das kleine Hotel in der Altstadt von Lagos (3min zu Fuß bis zum "Zentrum" mit den vielen Läden und Restaurants) wirklich gut gefallen. Zwar war der Empfang über die Sprechanlage nicht besonders gastfreundlich, aber es hat funktioniert und wir konnten unser Zimmer sofort beziehen. Das Zimmer selbst war klein und eher zweckmäßig, aber modern, eingerichtet. Wir hatten extra ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, was wirklich super war. So konnte man am Abend draußen sitzen und das Zimmerchen mal verlassen. Das beste am Muralha house war die Sauberkeit. Es war wirklich alles tip top: keinerlei Schmutz im Bad, sogar der Duschkopf war blitzblank. Ich finde das hat man nicht oft... |Ganz besonders toll war die nette portugiesische Dame, die jeden Morgen mit viel Liebe den Frühstückstisch eindeckte. Es gab immer frisches Obst, täglich anderen Saft, unterschiedliches Gebäck, mal Rührei, mal ein gekochtes Ei... Es war wirklich schön sich morgens an den Tisch zu setzen ohne ungemütliches Getummel am Buffet - zumal die Dame auch sehr nett war. Sie ist es auch die, die Zimmer so super pflegt. (Übrigens ist das Frühstück im EG und morgens nicht zu übersehen. Wir haben uns zunächst gefragt, wo es wohl sein könnte...)|Wir würden jederzeit wieder im Muralha...
