Modern and popular brunch spot with very filling pancakes. The space is bright, white, and minimalistic in that modern café sort of way. The outdoor space is more of some seating in a laneway, rather than a proper patio, but it is always busy! In my experience, this is one of the most popular (if not the most popular) brunch spots in Lagos. The staff is mostly friendly and attentive, and the baristas look like they are legit enjoying their jobs, which is amazing to see. Cappuccino was good, nice flavour and foam. It came out very quickly, and hot. Even though it was quite busy when I sat down, there were no drinks forgotten and cooling on the pass. Nice to see in Portugal. Staff are really on top of making sure drinks are delivered to tables very promptly. After all, it is a coffee shop. They obviously take pride in the coffee they put out. The pancakes were thick, and a bit dense and dry for me personally. Not bursting with a tonne of flavour either. I can see why people would enjoy these, but they just weren't my personal favourite. The cream was very generous and wonderful consistency. If you're looking for a place to fill your belly, these will do the trick. I couldn't actually finish them all! To me, that's good value. Overall, a good café that I would definitely grab a coffee at again. And they do counter-service take-away coffee and pastries, all of which look great.

Last year when I was at this cafe I had a great experience and was happy with the food so when I came back to Lagos it was the first place I wanted to have brunch there. But to day was awful! I was treated like ……. Here is what happened; I was sitting outside enjoying sunshine while eating my breakfast when the waitress opened the shade right above my head without asking me if it’s ok. When I told her she said the people sitting at table in front of me don’t want to be in sun. Then suggested that I move to another table! I was in the middle of eating. Yet I accepted to move on one condition that she help me to move. She pointed to a table and told me” sit there” then she ignored me and moves to another customer! I went after her reminded her I asked for her help but she told me I have to wait until she get orders from other tables! She expected me to wait while my food was on the table! She didn’t apologize or even showed a little bit of remorse, she acted like she had no idea what was wrong!! I have never been treated like this in my life! I was so angry that I couldn’t eat any more, I told their manager what happened all I get was “ oh I am so sorry it will be 17,39 € , paying cash or with card?!

Visited here on a weekday afternoon. The waitress greeted us at the door and took us to a table. She was very friendly. My partner had a flat white and I had an iced latte. The coffee was strong in flavour but wasn’t bitter and had good body. The chosen blend was great and enjoyable. We shared a white chocolate and miso cookie and a twice baked chocolate and almond croissant. The cookie was delicious, a more New York style with a crispy bottom and soft centre. The miso flavour could have been stronger but overall a very enjoyable bake. The chocolate and almond croissant was divine. A good amount of almond paste and chocolate in the centre paired with a light crisp croissant and crunchy almond topping. It was the best almond croissant we have both ever had. Everything was great value for money, the 2 coffees and sweet treats came to €13. Overall, a lovely place for coffee, cake and food. The staff are friendly, the place had a great vibe and serves excellent and delicious food and drink. I would recommend visiting here when in Lagos or making a special journey when in the Algarve.

RUDEST PLACE. Do not eat here if you want to be treated to abuse. The staff have the WORST customer service and cannot take ANY feedback. First off their coffee machine is broken and they expect you to walk down and order coffee and then come back to a cold breakfast. The Owner and Manager are both very aggressive and will full on fight with you. The staff are not trained properly in customer service. At the end of our meal, my mum asked for a discount as we had paid for two coffees from the takeaway venue and the breakfast was cold due to queuing for coffee. The manager was extremely aggressive and I was afraid she would hit my mum. She does not know how to treat customers and all the staff are learning from her aggressive behaviour. My mum stood her ground and so the owner kicked us out and said breakfast was on them after abusing us and to never come back!! The portuguese need to learn how to treat customers or they will lose business from other countries and they do well from all the tourism that comes into the country. This cafe is a shambles and will go downhill...
