Such an amazing hotel! Reception staff were amongst the friendliest hotel staff we’ve ever come across. We were offered water and egg tarts even before we could check in! The room was spacious, clean and has good amenities. The building felt newly refurbished. We were pleasantly surprised with daily egg tarts after our rooms were cleaned. Room service was overall great, though more toilet paper allowance/replenishment would have been appreciated and our shower gel was empty for 2 days. We booked the deluxe double room via bookings, costing around $1000 aud for 3 nights. Location was phenomenal - a short walk to old town and to the busier Barro Alto area too. The road in front of the hotel is not accessible to cars but the surrounding roads easily are. The tram line in front of the hotel makes for a picturesque atmosphere. Sound was not a problem with our windows closed on the third floor. Highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely loved our rooms and location! Very walkable and the rooms were modern/updated/clean. We stayed in the junior suite and enjoyed the built in Bluetooth speakers, robes, and sweet treats upon arrival. I’ve never stayed at a eurostars hotel but this experience definitely prompts more eurostar stays. The pastel de natas at the front desk made each day for me. Speaking of food, the breakfast was phenomenal and fresh every day. One downside is that there is active construction going in right outside the hotel so any Uber or taxi we ordered had to wait a few blocks away. This was unfortunate when having to carry our luggage. Other than that, we had a great stay!!

We had a bit of a hick up where the air conditioning wasn’t working but they sent someone immediately. I was hoping the guy would fix it and he did so luckily we didn’t have change rooms or even worse stay there waking up in a pool of sweat. The place actually smells like a hotel unlike most places I stayed in other cities in Europe recently. There’s a great attention to detail with great customer service. We received a complementary free breakfast and it was actually good. There were also non-stop free pasties de nata pastries in the lobby. I would stay here again. They also had king size beds which isn’t all that common in European tourist areas

We have had an absolute amazing stay in this hotel. Even though it is part of a chain it definitely also comes with this amazing boutique charm.

The hotel is located in a great area in the heart of Lisbon. Around the hotel you will find plenty of nice restaurants and bars and the area is very vibrant. However, you won't have any noise in your room as the isolation of the windows is top. The rooms themselves are arranged very tastefully and modern, with a touch of Portugal and have everything you need. Moreover, you can even connect your phone to some integrated loudspeakers and play your music around the whole room (also in the bathroom).

The breakfast buffet in the hotel was also VERY delicious with so much variety on vegetables, fruits, different cakes, different types of ham, bread (the list could go on and on) and everything tasted super fresh. Moreover, apart from standard warm egg dishes which you could order every day (scrambled, fried eggs etc) they had one salty and one sweet daily special, like fresh pancakes with fruits, or avocado toast with poached egg...simply delicious! The only negative is that you will probably come with more kilos back home than expected…...as we always ordered a double portion :-)

But all these amazing features cannot compete with one, which is definitely the big secret weapon of this hotel: THE STAFF! I don't think I have ever encountered a staff hotel which was more welcome, friendly and helpful than the one in this hotel. Everyone, starting at reception, at the breakfast buffet and so on, is constantly on their tip toes trying to make you feel as good as possible and fulfilling you any wish you may have. They will give you great tips for the day, they will make sure everything is to your absolute satisfaction, they are simply amazing. Of course, sometimes things can happen or occur during a stay, where the hotel is not necessary at fault but it can cause a discomfort for the guest. But in such situations, the difference which distinguishes a good hotel from an excellent one is how the staff is dealing with a problem...and I must say, the Eurostar Lisbon Baixa team is spectacular!

If you want to have a stay where you have always a smile on your face, cause you appreciate how nicely you are treated, and where you leave with a crying eye cause you know you're not only finishing your holidays, but you will also no longer see this amazing team, then I would highly recommend the Eurostar Lisbon Baixa.

A big big thank you to the entire team for having made our stay so great! You are the...

They told us breakfast was included then charged us in the end.

Pros: Our room was clean, spacious and modern. Excellent location. Best shower pressure we've experienced in a hotel.

Cons: Wi-Fi was slow. In-room Bluetooth would not connect. Couldn't be dropped off/picked up at the hotel entrance - needed to walk around and behind the hotel - something to keep in mind if you have many and or large luggage (budget enough time for rideshare pickup)

Stayed here three nights, May 13-15 room 107. The receptionist told us breakfast would be included when she checked us in. Awesome right!? For the next two mornings, we came to breakfast (btw we don't eat hotel breakfast unless it's included). The lady only asked us for the room number, confirmed my wife's name then they checked us on the list and sat us (didn't mention the breakfast needed to be paid for). Groovy.

The breakfast was good with a diverse selection. The restaurant staff was nice. Fast forward to the morning of 5/16 (today at the time of writing), we wanted to get breakfast before checking out. A staff member looked at the list and told us it would be 18 € per person. We told them never mind. We thought to ourselves maybe it's not included on the check-out day which is weird, because we're still their guests until checking out but whatever. Later on when we came down to check out. They told us none of the breakfasts were included, and we need to pay 72 € (18 x 2 people × 2 breakfasts). We tried to contest this to no avail. The lady who checked us in and told us the breakfast was included was also present but now was claiming otherwise. We told them we would have not come if it was NOT included. And that how come the first two times, they didn't mention the cost and merely checked our name, room number then sat us which was a completely different approach this morning. Our Uber driver was already waiting for us a block behind the hotel to take us to the airport. The staff wouldn't budge, so we just paid to leave. We felt duped and lied to. That really soured an otherwise mostly...

Well. Good things first. Location of this hotel ist perfect. Rooms are pretty ok as well. If you are on private vacation and bring plenty of time this might suit you. BUT If you are travelling for business purposes or planning business trips for companies: stay away. The problem here undertrained, unmotivated, mere incompetent employees which will waste your time.

I have met Laura at the reception for my first and definitely last stay at this hotel.

Unable to find my reservation (but my colleagues after 15 minutes of thorough search). Well - We need a room so I've decided to simply rebook the room. And although it is not my money, Laura offered me the worst available rate. GREAT! She lost a bit trust by then, I took the opportunity and rebooked online via the hotel website to get at least the normal rate....

As this was a business trip, a correct invoice is essential. So I handed a business card to avoid mistakes, and after insisting ( I pointed out to her, that the company had a new address), she took a copy.

Well unfortunately (and might be not Lauras fault) she assigned a room which was not properly cleaned. When advised (after calling reception 2 times without anybody answering) she offered a change or a re-cleaning of the room. If you are working for 12 hours straight on your business trip - that's both great - exactly what you expect from a 4* Hotel offering 200Eur/night w/ breakfast.

When returning from dinner, I've asked Laura to receive the invoice - which was ready: GREAT! Thats normally good news. But it was of course the wrong address... so another 15 minutes wait to have it corrected. Yes. Why bothering listening to clients. She said she discarded the business card after finding the company in the system,. YES THATS EXACTLY WHY I INSISTED.

Well. We all know there is a lack of skilled Labour. But that kind of staff is hurting business. How could you get EVERY...
