Pros: - central location - air conditioning - elevator - clean - umbrellas for rainy Lisbon days - quiet considering central location from outside noises Cons: - many broken room items (bedside light, bathroom light, toilet paper holder) - only one roll of toilet paper, have to ask staff for more - asked the staff for a second sheet both at night and in the morning (two different staff) and either request got lost in translation or they both forgot - walls were a little worse for wear, but probably par for the course with an older building - if you get a loud upstairs neighbour, can hear stomping around and doors slamming - if you are booking through a third party app (Expedia for us) don’t expect any of the booking notes to make it to the hotel. They said they don’t read them (as was in our case). *we told the staff of the broken items but were only staying two nights so asked them not to send anyone to fix.

Our stay was excellent and the person who checked us in was lovely and very helpful. I wish I could have gotten his name. The room is very modern and clean, linens and towels were comfortable, and location is very central to anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Lisbon especially as a first timer. Most things are walkable from this hotel. We had a trip around a few countries in Europe and this is the best hotel we’ve stayed at so far. Great room for the price. Temperature inside the room is controllable, the room is quite spacious by European standards, has a lovely window, and the shower is spacious and works superbly well.

These people are awful. They didn't send an email with the booking codes so I knew how to check-in and said it was booking.com's fault. They then gave the incorrect codes to get into the apartment. My sisters and I were staying together. There was a queen bed and a chair that they folded into a bed. It was rock hard. My sister has breast cancer and can't lay on that, my other sister has sciatica, and I have degenerative arthritis. I googled the price of the furniture, which is $200...the same amount I was charged for the 2nd bed. They were not helpful and said they're not responsible for how booking.com advertised it.

Somebody from the hotel staff used the credit card I provided at check-in. I only used this card at this hotel and nowhere else, and the day after my check-in they helped themselves to an Amazon purchase of about 200 euros. This made me feel unsafe and ruined the whole experience. When I politely complained, the front desk receptionist showed me the physical folder where my file was - a copy of my passport page with the credit card number written on it. The folder obviously had other guests' files in it, anyone from the staff has access to it, it's not locked anywhere. My guess is it's somebody from the night shift but of course there's no way to prove it. I had to call my bank to cancel the card, had to pay for this international call. When I spoke to the manager, he just said "It's not any of our staff", which of course he would say that. No apology, no "sorry for your experience", even though I explained I never used this card anywhere else. Gave me his card and said "Let me know what the bank says". The bank is not going to tell me who did this, they can just determine it was a fraudulent transaction. I did try calling his number a day later (I realized I'd left an earring on my nightstand and didn't want anybody to come in and steal it since I didn't trust the staff at that point). He hung up on my call without picking up and then turned off the phone. I ended up calling the front desk 6 times before somebody picked up and I asked not to...

We found this hotel accommodating to our needs. It is very centrally situated and our room was spacious and clean. There was an extra small room where we were able to store our luggage which was very much appreciated. The bathroom was also spacious, however, not much room to put toiletries but we made do with putting these on a small stool which was placed near the basin. Perhaps, instead of paper cups in the bathroom, glasses would be more acceptable. Although our room overlooked the street with cafes etc, we could not hear any noise at all and had a peaceful nights sleep each night during our stay. Our breakfasts were included in the price of our accommodation and it was appreciated that we could choose what we wanted the day before from the breakfast menu and hand this in at reception who would then pass it on to the breakfast staff. You could choose from cooked or continental breakfasts, both were good. Breakfasts are run very efficiently by the staff. The reception staff were polite and helpful and organized a taxi for us on our last day to the airport, even coming with us to show where we would be picked up because taxis cannot park directly outside the hotel. I would definitely stay at the Lisboa Prata Boutique...

This hotel is an absolute gem! My partner & I initially chose this hotel for the location, but couldn’t be happier with our entire experience! The room was clean & equipped with all of the essentials. The large towels & extra comfy sheets were a bonus. What really made our time here so extraordinary was Diogo who made the entire stay above and beyond! Not only was he such a delight for our initial check-in, but also took the time to give us his expert opinion on the area & how to really maximize our time in the city. His recommendations covered everything from food, music, sights, and other must-do’s. We had such a great time that we changed our plans and decided to stay an extra day to hit the things we missed on our first day. When we went to reserve another night unfortunately they were booked solid but Diogo took the time to call a partner guest house only one block away & reserved us a room — which has already proven to be equally as charming. Thank you prata boutique hotel, but especially Diogo for creating such an exceptional time for...
