IHG members just avoid this place. First of all , this brand new hotel needs a staff education on hospitality language manner, when checking in, NO welcome , NO saying hi, NO smile, just eye contact and never ask for any preference or anything. Really surprised me with their body language, maybe Holiday Inn “express” are trying to low cost on everything ? Second the room condition , the paint smell was aweful so we went to front to exchange the room and the staff did not believe us, which made me super uncomfortable, no apology or anything just quietly handed me another room key Third , cleaning staffs , some were nice but some of them looked super pissed all the time, im trying to get on my way to the lift and they were on the way, I tried to say Hi with smile , they just look off and looked pissed that im on their way, such a ridiculous hospitality. Fourth- the towel is so disgusting , whoever purchased this quality towel must be audited, the towel leaves residue on your skin, super dusty with the low quality fiber weaving, this is not healthy for kids or elderly. Parking - theres no parking you gotta find your own Location hella far away from everything I wouldnt complain too much if the price was on budget, this hotel cost me 380 euro for 2 night which is not a budget, but the quality of this place was worse than the highway inn. Definitly wont...

Check in went smoothly, the front desk staff was very helpful when we asked about best beach options since two folks in our group have had never seen the ocean before.|Breakfast was good, I loved that they had fresh orange juice instead of just some concentrate. They even had mango juice but I didn't try it. Plenty of options! |The restaurant is ok. Wouldn't say amazing but convenient and decently priced. Try the roasted peppers! My favorite! There are a few decent restaurants nearby - if you want a really good pizza and perhaps a salad (which seems to be hard to find in Portugal) - make a reservation at Forno D'Oro around the corner...
