Portas do Teatro Apartments — Hotel in Lisbon

We arrived at the apartments and the owner was not around to greet us. We booked on hotels.com and expedia.com and everything was paid for and confirmed. We even received a message from the property a week prior. However when we arrived it was raining, we were carrying suitcases and had an ederly family member with us and my 3 year old child. We had to stand in the rain and cold weather trying to figure out how to get in. We called the property only for them to tell us our reservation was cancelled. We never received an email to say this. We asked if they could at least let us come in and stand in the foyer to escape the rain, however they declined to help us. There we were vunerable and cold. We had to use our phones to look for another place on the spot. This took us an additional 2 hours after already spening 12 hours travelling to Lisbon. The next day we were sick and since we only had 3 days in Lisbon we did not enjoy ourselves. The hospitality was awful. Me hospedei por alguns meses em um imóvel da Portas do Sol/ Portas do Teatro Apartments, mas a estadia acabou apresentando vários problemas. Termoacumulador parando de funcionar por dias (inclusive no inverno), goteiras no apartamento, mofo nos 3 colchões e festas até as 5 da manhã nos outros apartamentos da empresa.

Eu e minha esposa acabamos por relevar tais acontecimentos, mas infelizmente tivemos mais um grande problema no final da hospedagem. Danificamos uma TV do imóvel, e comunicamos ao responsável pela gestão Sr. Ricardo, para que pudéssemos indenizar o dano causado. O Sr. Ricardo adquiriu uma TV nova, de tamanho e valor superior à TV bem velha do apartamento, e nos enviou a fatura para pagamento. Pareceu uma tentativa de aproveitar a indenização para fazer um upgrade no imóvel, às custas do cliente. Nos negamos a fazer o pagamento e propusemos um valor coerente com o dano. Depois de muita conversa, o Sr. Ricardo concordou com o valor de indenização sugerido por nós, mas adicionou uma cobrança extra de 30 euros de reposição de material, com a qual não concordamos, por absoluta falta de previsão legal ou motivação, no que pareceu outra tentativa de cobrar valor superior ao justo. Além disso, emitiu a fatura em desacordo com o negociado, e ainda adicionou IVA no valor.

Em resumo, acabamos gastando mais de 8.000 euros em hospedagem, mas tivemos um serviço muito abaixo do esperado, além de irritação com cobranças indevidas. O Sr. Ricardo ainda se encontra com o caução pago por nós, e deseja unilateralmente fazer as cobranças como lhe convém, com o que não concordamos.

Não recomendamos a hospedagem nos imóveis...

I stayed here with 3 friends and we loved this apartment. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen, washing machine, all the comforts of home.|We also had a view of the Bay|The location was fantastic as it was near to most things and walking was easy.|The apartment is located in a street that is now cut in half as Roman ruins have been found there and the Teatro Rome museum is actually across the street. If staying here, it is well worth a visit.|It was also quiet as limited traffic...
