Matriz Lofts — Hotel in Ponta Delgada

This is truly a gem in the lovely town of Ponta Delgada. Nuno is an outstanding, highly hospitable and friendly host who cares deeply about his guest's experiences in his property. I highly recommend staying here. Everything is spotlessly clean, spacious, updated and a very comfortable bed as well. The loft I stayed in has two floors, and two small terraces with a lovely side view of the church. There is a kitchenette, but with so many restaurants and eateries practically outside the door, I chose to eat out. There's a spacious fridge, stove/oven, micro, dishwasher and best of all, a washer/dryer. Nuno's communication is excellent via email and messaging, and he's easily accessible. I highly appreciate the effort and care he puts into ensuring his guests are comfortable, and I sure appreciate his providing me a ride to the airport on my day of departure! This is definitely a place which I look forward returning to and staying at again many times...

Wonderful apartment and fantastic stay! Hosts Nuno and Julia are so kind and very helpful. Always available via WhatsApp and phone. Self-check-in was easy and simple. Location is great! It is in the very heart of the town. Close to restaurants, cafes, marina and other attractions. The apartment is very clean, spacious and comfortable, well maintained and well equipped.
