Due to the bank holiday, lunchtime was very busy and the servers looked very frazzled trying to keep up. The outside seating is great on a nice day. We originally sat outside and waited 15 minutes for a menu. During this time we saw how we might have gotten overlooked due to the big groups. We decided to sit inside and our server took care of us in 5 minutes. There was some confusion with our order since it didn’t come out at the same time, fish soup, fries, and drinks. The fries came after we had eaten our meal. However, I was very pleased with the fish soup. It was delicious and hearty.

Really disappointing cos it looks like it would be a really nice place but it's a typical tourist trap sort of cafe. The wrap was so-so (and cold), pretty generic cafeteria food for that price. Had a really difficult time asking for sauce on my wrap. Considering it is in Ponta Delagada's most touristy area, I expected all little more ease in ordering, as I've had no issues communicating any other restaurant/shop in Azores or mainland. Burger was tasty though. Also, you will get swarmed by bold pigeons and gulls if you're outside. The worst part was the coffee however. I had a lot of good coffee in Portgual but this "cappuccino" was literally one of those packets you add hot water to. Terrible. A cafe should be ashamed of serving that "coffee".

This was a great place to grab a quick bite on a budget. Perfect for a quick essential breakfast. Coffee is delicious. There are pigeons around, so beware. Ultimately, this locale was a 2.5 at best. The meal was ok, the food was fine for the price and quantity but the flavor was too salty and too much protein. It feels wrong to out 2 sausages, 1 spoonful of beans, and bacon and eggs on the same plate. The coffee was perfect. The service was also poor, but we found this was the case in many restaurants (slow dinning) in Portugal and you don't get the check unless you ask for it (general Europe culture). Would only recommend if you want to grab a coffee or something light for the road.

I just went to buy a cake to take away for my boyfriend’s birthday. At first I was ignored by all staff. After I figured out that I first have to pay and then someone will see me, the very pretty small cake was squeezed into a box. When I shouted “no”, because the waitress was going to destroy the whole cake, she threw it to me saying that this was the only box she has. The problem was not the box, the problem was her negligent way of dealing with the beautiful bakery products and her extremely unfriendly service. The cake was delicious and it looked very pretty, even though she crushed the oreo. Therefore they even get 2 stars. But the service is horrible.

An idyllic spot to have a local draft beer, wine and some Azorean cheese. Have patience when arriving as they Cafe is very busy and crowded. Likewise have patience with the wait staff as they are trying to serve a hungry and thirsty crowd. With that said thank you to Catalina for taking care of us while we were there at the height of busy time. A variety of tapas, drinks and ice creams are on the menu plus clean bathrooms if you need to go. Overall, a great place to rest for the day and take in the sights.

The food was decent, the lumpias not that good. The cheese plate was the best probably, the other cooked dishes so-so. They prepare excellent shots tho, for a good price. Once the waitress totally forgot to bring our food, she was new new there so she didnt even place our order. We were so angry and hungry, but her collegue saved the night by inviting us all the starters and bringing some more. The place has nice and chilled atmosphere, not a fancy place for sure.
