My trip to Porto got postponed twice in the last 18months due to the travel restrictions during the pandemic. We have to cancel in the end as it is still not allowed. Every time our request of changing dates was confirmed without any hesitation or endured any extra charge. Not to mention in general circumstances there should be price difference from low season to peak season. Even the final cancellation I was granted with free of charge despite my booking was non refundable. The manager was more than supportive and helpful throughout the whole process. My every demand was fully granted even they are struggling to make their business survive. I really appreciate with their high standard customer service. Book House was a pleasure to stay in. It is a small bed and breakfast with many personal touches, tastefully furnished, quiet and well located. The proprietors are more than helpful, they are generous with their time (they let us stay way longer after check out than most properties that I know). Breakfast is delicious and always accommodated to one's morning schedule. If you can, stay in the big grand two level room. The bathroom is spectacular! The whole place was very clean.
