Absolutely great place to stay. Apart of small things that I have written privately to host as I understand that these are some minor issues which host may not be aware of right away, all was great. We booked for 4 persons and had not only enough linen but also 4 pairs of slippers which was the first time I have seen and I travel a lot. Moreover, this place is 10 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from new park if you are into morning jogging or workout. They even have free umbrellas stored in the hall which people don't mention. But the best part is free private parking - it's just great to have in this area as you will be struggling to find any spot during workdays and it will not be free, of course. All main sights, such as downtown, churches, parks, river are 10 minute walking distance. Cluj arena is 20 minute walk from apartments. You also got public transport 2 minutes...

Just an update (June 2025) to say we've just had another great stay at Gavas. Clean, friendly, well priced. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Cluj.
