Black Gallo Residences — Hotel in City of Belgrade

I've been to Belgrade many times over the years and enjoy trying new hotels and rentals. Of all of the places I've stayed, Black Gallo checks the most boxes for a comfortable stay. ||It's perfectly located on a side street off the main drag, Knez Mihailova. So you get the convenience of an unbeatable located but the quiet of a more residential area. No noise at night which is hard to find in a bustling city without feeling like you're too far from the action. ||We stayed in the two bedroom penthouse on the 6th floor. There is an elevator and it was working all 5 days we were there. Penthouse has two spacious bedrooms, a kitchen with fridge, freezer(1), stove, coffee maker, tea kettle and assorted plates, cutlery, etc. Bathroom is huge with a walk-in shower and soaps, shampoo, just like hotel would have. There's a common area with a sofa and table that seats four. All rooms have TVs that allow connections to streaming (most hotels do not; you're stuck with the local channels). Best of all was the large terrace with a sofa, two stuffed chairs and coffee table. We spent a lot of time on the terrace in the morning and evening. ||If you stay in one of the other rooms, you'll be on the second floor where the rest of the rooms are all located.||Communication was prompt and clear. We arrived later on Sunday and were given easy-to-follow instructions to check ourselves in. We were able to contact the concierge 24-hours a day if needed. Most hotels connect the room key to electricity use: when you leave with your key, everything powers off. That makes financial and energy sense, but means you can't charge anything while you're out and about. Black Gallo allows you to keep electricity on while you're gone if you choose to. I recently stayed at Black Gallo Residences in Belgrade and had an exceptional experience from start to finish.

First, the communication with the reservation team was outstanding. They were responsive, professional, and provided all the necessary details ahead of my stay, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

The check-in process was also very easy, even though I arrived after the reception had closed. Thanks to the detailed instructions they shared with me in advance, everything went perfectly.

The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully modern and it felt very comfortable and welcoming.

Finally, the location was truly fantastic. Everything was within walking distance, with plenty of great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars just around the corner.

Unbelievable stay. First they called us and said that they were canceling our reservation (some system mistake)!Then called and said they found a room. Although I checked, and at all booking sites when after their first call there were rooms in this property… finally it was not the category we ordered (they gave us an economy option instead of the apartment). And of course, as it is not a hotel, there was no one at the reception to complain about that, because we were checking in quite late. The window of a bathroom looks right to the next wall with a lot of windows and there were lights and people there and no curtains to hide when you are showering or going into the toilet. So you pipi may be seen or even photoshoot by everyone...
