It was a first in our lives. When we went to pay after the meal, they said they couldn't take separate payments. There were 3 of us and the woman who owned the business said that only one person had to pay for everything. It was extremely strange, it was the first time in my life that I had heard such an offer and obligation. I wasn't sure if I had enough money in my account to pay everyone's bill, but I looked and saw that there was enough money there from the bank application. I tried to pay but the POS devices refused to accept the payment. I said that I had been here for three days and that I had paid everywhere before coming here. Our cards were valid everywhere we ate, from the bus to the market. The woman who owned the business said with an interesting attitude, "We are always here and we take payments. Your cards don't work." But there is no problem with our cards? If it were in other places, they would bring an alternative POS device or try a solution from the shop next door. But this business blamed us. We all tried our cards but none of our cards were accepted for payment by the POS devices. They still insist on not accepting that the problem could be theirs. She said that we had to pay in cash. We had to leave one of us hostage there and go to the ATM to withdraw money. Is it necessary to have cash in this day and age? We rushed to find an ATM and pay as soon as possible, and when we returned, the owner of the business made a gesture as if pushing me and said that we had to wait. I have never seen such rudeness in my life. Since the receipt had already been cut, we wanted to leave the money and leave. They could have done the transaction after we left. If we spent half an hour on the food, we spent 40 minutes on the payment problem. It was impossible to stand in the narrow space and as if he was blaming his customer for the lack of space? Instead of apologizing, they showed a rude attitude. I would not recommend anyone to go here. It was our only bad experience in Belgrade. Everyone was friendly and polite except for this business and every place we...

Coming from New York, a city overflowing with vegan options, I’ve experienced a lot when it comes to plant-based dining. But what sets this restaurant apart isn’t just the variety, it’s the unmatched freshness and the incredible dedication to making everything from scratch. That level of care is rare and truly remarkable.
When I discovered this restaurant with its stunning outdoor seating and impressive vegan menu, I knew I had to check it out. Let me tell you, this place exceeded every expectation!
From start to finish, the food was absolutely incredible. Every single item is made fresh from scratch, the sauces, the bun, the bread, and the burger. The potatoes that came with my meal were fresh and delicious as well. Everything I ordered was 100% vegan and crafted with so much care and attention to detail. I had the pleasure of enjoying a beautifully prepared chickpea burger with homemade vegan cheese and sauces. It was bursting with flavor and freshness, a true culinary delight.
To accompany my meal, I sipped on a glass of Prosecco from Italy, which was perfectly chilled and absolutely delightful. The combination of amazing food, a relaxing outdoor ambiance, and the joy of people-watching made for an unforgettable experience.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the kindness and warmth of the staff. When I tried to leave a tip, a lovely woman graciously declined and said, “Your review is the tip, please.” Her humility and sincerity were so touching. She even invited me back to enjoy another glass of Prosecco upstairs and I will absolutely take her up on that offer!
This restaurant is a rare find, where hospitality, freshness, and quality converge to create something truly special. I will cherish this experience and highly recommend it to anyone seeking incredible vegan food and unmatched hospitality. Thank you for making my visit...
Read moreI'm not sure what to say about this place - lots of contradictions.
Summary: tasty food but a shame about a lot of other factors. overpriced (and possibly overcharged). Cool decor and music, but weird atmosphere. Slow and slightly unfriendly service. The initial welcome from the owner(?) seemed a bit unfriendly/grumpy, but then he seemed a bit better later on, and after we paid he gave our daughter another bottle of juice to take away with her.
It says on the menu that it's a 'slow food' place, which is fair enough, but it was very slow, and we seemed to be the only people there eating, so I'd hate to think how long the wait is when it's busy.
The decoration and music were good but, as another review mentioned, various workers/friends of the owner seemed to be sat around doing paperwork, which was a little odd.
The food was tasty, but expensive and, in my opinion, overpriced for what it was - and on reflection, I think we paid about 1000rsd more than we should have (a few other reviews have mentioned being overcharged, so I'm guessing this happened, which is a real shame). We had 2 mains, a shared starter, and 4 drinks - but I glanced at the till as my partner paid and I saw 4 items of around 1000rsd each, so I'm not sure what the 4th pricier item could have been. (I also asked for some extra bread - which is on the menu - and was given a white sesame bun/cob, which is not what I was expecting, and if this was 300rsd that is ridiculously overpriced).
Finally, just to add to the contradictions - we saw a mezze starter on the menu (I'm pretty sure it said 'starters' or 'appetisers' somewhere on the page). I started to order and said "the mezze starter" and the owner interrupted me to say "no starters - food all comes together". Okay... But then it did come as a (very slow) starter by itself, and then my partner had nearly finished her main before mine arrived, which is not...
