Svjetlana and Mladjo, the couple who own M House, are amazing, warm, friendly and really love their guests and their hotel. When I say Hotel I mean Hotel. While this is considered a Bed and breakfast you definitely feel like this is a Boutique Hotel. There is always someone at the front desk in the lobby. The Breakfast each morning was fantastic. While there were the daily staples there was always something different daily to keep things interesting. We stayed 8 Nights so we definitely stayed long enough to have both Mladjo (who is definitely in charge of the downstairs restaurant) and Svjetlana on their day off and when they left for the day. Their staff is warm and friendly as well as competent. Our room was ALWAYS cleaned daily and our beds made up and new towels delivered. The entire place is sparkling clean. Our beds were very comfortable. The showers were hot and the pressure was great. The Wifi Never disappointed no matter how many things we had hooked up to it. They even offered to take our extra bags that we'd unpacked an put them in their storage room so we had more space. Also, everyone loved our Toddler and were always so kind and playful with him. There were always other customers around for breakfast or in the lobby but you never really heard anyone in your room which was wonderful and unexpected. The area has tons of restaurants and even has a sushi place next door. There are playgrounds everywhere. Really. This is a kid friendly city. If we come back to Old Belgrade we will be sure to stay with Svjetlana and Mladjo. They put their hearts into M House and we appreciate...
Read moreThis review is from my parents who stayed at M House while visiting me in Belgrade:||M House is a gem, located in the desirable Dorćol neighborhood of Belgrade. It is situated on a very quiet residential street, just a block and a half from a primary arterial street where trams and busses run regularly. There are several small neighborhood restaurants on the street, as well as a first class wine shop. There is also a very nice public park/playground at the end of the street.||The hotel is within easy walking distance to the Belgrade Zoo and the Belgrade Fortress, which is located within the beautiful Kalemagden public park and overlooks the Danube and Sava Rivers.||It is also within easy walking distance to a lively “restaurant row” and a large green market where one can find a wide variety of meats, cheeses, and produce.||Republic Square, the launching point for visiting the National Museum of Serbia, the National Theater of Belgrade, and a large pedestrian shopping area is also within easy walking distance from M House.||The hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful. The guest rooms are spacious and clean and have all the needed amenities. I think you will find the daily breakfasts have everything you might want.||We stayed at the hotel for 10 days and had no complaints, only appreciation for a great experience. The staff pleasantly accommodated everything that we requested.||I strongly recommend M House as a wonderful place to stay...

That beautiful couple created a heaven and Svetlana is a true angel.
I had to stay in Belgrade alone without my family due to my business. I was supposed to stay the new years eve there, thinking I will be all alone in my room. I was planning to shop for new year's eve at my small comfortable and cozy room in Mhouse.
Then I received a message from owner Svetlana, saying "be our guest for New Year dinner" I was so happy and said I will get a bottle of wine. She said "nothing needed you are our guest tonight."
I was so happy to join their small family and friends dinner. I really felt home.
They never left me alone when needed. They were bringing FREE tea and coffee to my room when I had to stay in because of my back pain.
If you come to Belgrade forget about all fancy hotels and come to a homely place: Mhouse.
It is walking distance to Saint Sava Church, Republic Square and Kalemaydan.
All the shops, malls and restaurants are walking distance.
I highly recommend Mhouse for all travellers both, business...
