Food was great but the service was terrible. We waited for more than 10 mins for anyone to come clean our table and give us the menu. The restaurant was not very busy at the time. We ordered four dishes and they forgot two dishes. We looked at them for another 10 mins when we wanted to order desserts and no one wanted to engage or cared to come ask if we wanted to anything. One of us had to walk to the counter to order a dessert and ask for the bill. At this point we didn't even want to ask for the two dishes which didn't come. The person said ok and did nothing. Another 10-15 mins past and one of us had to go to the counter again to remind them about the dessert which finally made one person serve the dessert reluctantly. The dessert was readily made! When we tried to pay, the two dishes which never came were on the bill plus one more we never ordered!! With no surprise, they don't charge you a service fee. Such a rubbish dinning experience as there's great potential with the food itself. Not a single person who works at the restaurant cared about...

White customers were seated promptly (even with empty tables available), while we were left waiting outside. We also noticed differences in small gestures, like offering ice water to some tables but not others.
Politely calling for service multiple times to order ("excuse me") was ignored, despite staff engaging with others around us. Whether intentional or not, the disparity in treatment made our meal feel unwelcoming. A shame, because the place has potential for being a more welcoming restaurant. Hopefully management takes feedback seriously to ensure all guests feel...
Read moreThis ćevapi place may be in a touristy location, but don’t let that fool you – the food is honest and real. They follow the Sarajevo-style ćevapi tradition: juicy minced meat, served in a warm flatbread (somun) with chopped onions, ajvar, and of course – kajmak.
The location is great, right on the corner, with a nice atmosphere – perfect for both a quick lunch or a late bite. The service is excellent, friendly and attentive. They don’t focus much on salads, but when it comes to meat, they’re dead serious – fresh, well-grilled, and full of flavor.
If you're after a traditional Sarajevo-style ćevap in the heart of the city – this is the spot beside a fact there are other good spots in...
