Kebabish North Beach — Restaurant in North Beach

Been a regular patron but have noticed that service levels and quality have been dropping significantly on each visit.

Todays visit was was marred with seriously pathetic service and food.

The restaurant wasn't busy on our arrival. 3 guests.

Waited over half an hour to receive menu's.

Placed order for Steak Paratha. Sheesh Kebaabs. Mini Mix Grill. Sweet Lassi. Garlic Naan. Buddy Coke. Tea.

After 35 minutes...

Lassi and Steak Paratha arrived first. The dish was swimming in oil. Had to tip it over into a tissue. Was poorly seasoned. Lacked salt. Steak was hard and was cold.

15 minutes later our second item arrived, the Sheesh Kebaabs. Kebaabs were cold and poorly seasoned and felt like rubber. Chips were piping hot and very decent.

After 25 minutes from receiving the Sheesh Kebaabs I had to ask for the order on the mini mix grill. Which arrived 5 minutes after I queried. The Sheesh Kebaabs were of the same quality as mentioned above and the chicken was ok. As usual the Sheesh kebaab was cold. Chips was good and chicken was great.

The garlic naan followed the mini mix grill. 10 minutes later.

Naan looked beautiful. Lacked the usual garlic flavour and was served warm.

Our cool drink arrived after we reminded our waitress.

With regard to our tea order, I decided that it was time to give up.

This restaurent does not even deserve a 1 star. Worst indian restaurent I have been to in my whole life. We ordered a Chicken Rogan Josh curry, and Steak sizzler. If you go on google and type "Rogan Josh" ,, look at the pics of that curry and if u go to this restaurent you will be served the blandest curry on earth with not even seasoned chicken just boiled pieces of chicken popped inside. The steak sizzler was full of chillies.. and the gravy had pieces of chillies as well.. the gravy was not even tasty .. it felt like they just put water inside mixed with salt and pepper 🤮. And the Sizzler did not come sizzling at all!!!

If they are not capable of making indian food, they should change their whole menu!! Not write names of authentic indian dished and serve hospital food.

Gosh. Worst experience when a person is hungry,,. We even stopped eating and told the manager we are not satisfied with this food and all he did was reheated the same curry and served again. Worst customer...

A little Gem that I happened to come across when visiting a local Laundromat. And, how glad I am that I visited. The persons who seem to be in charge or the owners are just the friendliest and most welcoming lot. The menu is quite extensive and covers the normal Indian Grills, Curries, Breyanis and Breads, there's also some nice "not so usual" items too. But here's the thing, it's really delicious and generous portions of food at affordable and very reasonable prices. I visited on consecutive days, that's how good this place is. The ingredients are of good quality, spices are delightful and flavors are really very good. Try the Butter Naan (but my Naan drips with Butter - heart attack stuff but oh so worth it).
