Heima Guesthouse Hongdae — Hotel in Seoul

I’ve stayed in various guesthouses in Seoul and specifically Hongdae, and Heima is my best guesthouse experience so far. It is a short walk to the station and the main street but the street is quiet for a restful night.

The solo room with own toilet is more spacious than I expected, with enough room to open my suitcase without obstruction. Room and bathroom are very clean and even the common area is tidy. Well stocked with breakfast basics, and there’s a shared fridge, drinking water, toaster, microwave, and even a stovetop if you have enough time to cook.

Chris is super helpful, responsive to messaging and requests. I requested for a bath towel and was provided one. I also asked to keep luggage before and after checkin and checkout and my request was granted.

Will definitely want to book here again in the future....

👍👍The host is super friendly and helpful! Really enjoy the atmosphere here, everything is so clean, organized and tidy. Room is spacious and cozy. Love the vibes here. Breakfast choices are sufficient, it serves from 8-11am.

👏🏻Location is prefect, with just few mins walk from Hongdea Station, everything you need with walking distance.

👎One thing can be improved is that the curtains in my room couldnt block sunlight, thats why i woke up everyday at 5:00am local time when the sun rise, the room was too bright and it is hard to sleep 😞.....too bad cannot rest well...here....

The room is quite big for 1 person with 1 luggage, and most importantly is squaky clean. It has heated floor and balcony. The owner is very kind and helpful, and can speak English. He provides towel, toothpaste (please bring ur own toothbrush), shampoo, conditioner, body wash.

Location is only 5min walk to hongik univ that has arex line to Incheon airport. Area is safe even for female solo traveler.. and there is nearby emart within 2mins walk. Very convenient.

Please note there is no elevator, but the stairs are wide enough to carry your luggage.

Very recommended place to stay in...
