Jjungobchang — Restaurant in Seoul

When I came to SK for my second time, I knew I had to eat one thing. And that was Gopchang. We searched on google maps for somewhere near our place and we found this hole in the wall, located in the basement of a small house.

We weren’t expecting much, but what we got was absolutely incredible. The Gopchang here is not like those I had previously, it was a different way of cooking which i was not familiar with, but boy oh boy it was phenomenal. It was also extremely good value for the amount of food we got and the ambience was just so vibey and cute.

It is run by the cutest father and daughter duo. I’m definitely saving this for when i come back to SK again.

Jjungobchang is a popular gopchang (beef intestines) spot in Hongdae, but my experience was mixed. The flavor leans very sweet, which might not be for everyone. They offer service dishes and even suggest leaving a 5-star review in return, which might explain the high ratings.
