Casa Museo Jerez Centro — Hotel in Jerez

We stayed here in May and were really impressed with the apartment and set up. Just going to rebook for next year and realised we hadn't left a review. Excellent access to the town and parking nearby, it's quicker to walk into town than drive so make the best of the exercise. It's better to walk through the tourist area and get off the track, there are the best value restaurants. Go late at that time of year as it gets cooler later and the mist cools you better. The apartment is full of character and the owner lovely. The collection of farming implements is extensive and some defy working out what they did...

We wanted somewhere central to the old town, somewhere with easy parking, somewhere quiet, somewhere reasonably priced and somewhere different.... Casa Museo Jerez Centro ticked all of the boxes! Milli was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The accommodation itself was perfectly comfortable and well appointed. Note for taller travellers: we both bumped our heads upstairs on the mezzanine bed level - but we soon learned not to stand up 😅

As a wedding celebrant who travels all over southern Spain, I'm always looking for clean, cheap accommodation... this had the added bonus of having personality too...

What was good: 1- the owner of the place is very nice and does her best for you to feel welcome. 2 - the location is priviledeged in Jerez. Lots of wineries are around. Walking distance from the historical centre. 3 - if you need parking, Plaza del Arenal is the closest. Download the app and get discount prices.

What needs improvement: 4 - my room was very noisy. It was on the ground floor and I could hear people and steps from the room above me. Also I could hear loud and clear when people talked on the other room or in...
