We came around the corner and the waiters talked us into getting a table for dinner. Very annoying and already a bad sign. The owner, as he said he was, aproached us and told us whats the special of the day but we weren't interested. So they sent us a waitress that could barely understand english, but the menu was multi language. I ordered a swordfish (20€). After long time waiting we got our food. I was not sure if what I got was really a sword fish, but who am I to know, so I took it. When we got the bill, it turned out that they put on a "lenguado " which is a sole...(total different kind of fish) for 38€. Don't get me wrong the fish was decent, but the whole thing looked like a total rip off! I did not complain there, but later looked at trip advidor and found a lot of complain about that restaurant. I really can't recommend it. If you still want to give it a try, then last advice, eat the bread, cause they will charge you with 6€ for it, wether you...
Read moreWe were ushered into the restaurant from afar by desperate looking waitstaff. Reviews didn't look too bad.
Ordered for two people. A 18 euro plate of prawns and a 16 euro mixed paella.
My paella was ok. The chicken legs on the paella were ICE COLD. Like fresh out of the fridge cold and tossed on the rice as an after thought after the dish came out of the oven. It only had one of the advertised prawns on it.
Honestly it tasted like frozen bagged paella i could have gotten at any grocery store in the world.
My friend didn't finish his plate of prawns. He called them bad enough to not finish them despite the price. The mineral water came in plastic bottles.
The service was subpar. Our plates were thrown around without care. The table was unstable and both dishes came with substantial time between them.
The general atmosphere outside was that of beggars, buskers and unleashed dogs.

Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at El Mirador del Arenal and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes to choose from — including their outstanding paellas, paletilla de cordero, cordero lechado, and lenguado. Every plate was cooked to perfection.
The service was extraordinary: attentive, friendly, and truly top-notch. A special mention to John, the manager, who was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
The location is also excellent, with a wonderful atmosphere that makes the whole experience even better.
