The fist night in town we visited this tapas bar around 22:00. It was busy but we managed to get a table relatively quick. We had grilled whole squid in garlic, grilled tuna, potatoe salad, XL chicken skewer and some beers. The squid was super fresh and the potatoe salad was a different variation than westerners are used to, we both really liked it ! Service was fast and the bar tender was patient with my attempt to order in broken Spanish. We liked it so much we went back a second night and ordered much of the same and more. I wish I asked his name but the guy behind the bar tending to us was really entertaining and made us feel welcome (see picture of super cool dude carving up jamon iberico like a boss) Lots of locals and tourists like us and we felt right at home. Highly recommended!

Extraordinary Tapas in an Extraordinary Neighborhood Atmosphere. What a great restaurant and experience. We went with a private tour guide who loves tis place. We see why. Incredible menu, wonderful atmosphere, perfect service. I have never felt more local or welcome in a restaurant while on a trip as I did here. All four in our group agreed. Among the many things we tried were garlic prawn croquettes, grilled octopus with potatoes, salmorejo (gazpacho), prawns in garlic oil, cured pork loin and Spanish cured ham. Every single item was done to perfection. I highly highly recommend locals and tourists to try this restaurant/bar. Warning, it is very small and crowded. But it is totally worth it.

The food here is just delicious! It gets crowded with locals and the staffs don't speak English. Many of the ingredients are clearly displayed on the counter. Point and order. Once you get your order in, you will be in for a treat! Everything is fresh and tastes amazing, especially the seafood. We went 2 days on a row and ordered the squid, eggs with shrimps, fish eggs and scallops. My favorite was the calamari and crysal shrimp with eggs. Price are reasonable. Table seating is near impossible at peak meal time. Expect to hang out by the counter.

A must-visit in Jerez. A pleasure for the senses, this wonderful tabancos. The professionalism, efficiency, know-how, and the cuisine that can be tasted make this place the most recommended in all of Jerez. Very affordable prices and a staff that treats customers like family. They compel you to stop and taste their wonderful finos, palocortados, and olorosos. The little shrimp patties (tortillitas de camarones) are mind-blowing, and do not forget to try the pork cheeks and kidneys in sherry wine. Ah! The chicharrones!!!!

Fantastic buzzing atmosphere, somehow the servers still manage to smile and keep their mood up amidst the busy service. Food’s great, I tried a variety over 2 visits: fried setas (mushrooms), revuelto con bacalao (scrambled eggs and bacalao), Gambas Al Ajillo Croquettas & Rabo de Toro (oxtail - I specifically requested for no potatoes). Everything was excellent. The boss and staff were really gracious, giving a homeless lady a hot meal on one of the evenings I was there.
