Classic Business Hotel in Old town

We were actually quite surprised to find such a hotel with all the fittings and feel of a typical business hotel in the heart of old town which usually dont have such options. Spent only one night here, but it served its purpose of allowing us to explore tll the attractions and points of interest very easily without having to walk too far

LOCATION: Excellent location in the heart of old town

DINE + DRINK: Didnt have the chance to check the bar or restaurant

ROOM: We stayed in 204, so this review is based on that; VIEW: sweet view of the street; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Good cosmetics

FACILITIES: The so called Gym was an absolute joke! Dont even bother going up to the terrace to check it out and swimming pool is even more comical as it is more of a of mini kiddies pool

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of.

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Good sized Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in very...

This hotel has a "4 Star" set up and design, but it has some issues. PLUSES: The location is great, especially if you want parking and to be central. The pool is an excellent way to escape the heat mid-day and is really nice but (though small with only 4-6 lounge chairs). MINUSES: we had the Junior Suite (RM 310) because we wanted the very hard to find, actual King Size bed (not twins pushed together), but the mattress was hard as a rock and gave me shoulder pain sleeping on it. The air conditioner in the bedroom stated to make the room smell of rotten eggs. Manager had basically no solution for us except to sleep through it until the engineers came in the next day (no room to move us to, no portable fans to move the HOT night air - only some plug in "air fresheners", which were equally horrible). There is no coffee in the room (only one machine in the lobby, that you have to pay to use - is that 4 Star service?) Lastly, there was only one person running the desk at any one time (yet the hotel had no rooms to move us to, so they were sold out). Those two people were nice, but really, is THAT 4...

Arrived in Jerez by train from Cadiz ( €4.50 p/p) ( 2 coffees and 2 iberico ham tostadas for €10 at Cadiz station)|The hotel reception staff gave a warm welcome and offered to store luggage safely. At check in I was told the room was ready so no need to store luggage. I upgraded to a family room which had a sofa/ sofa bed room with fridge, mini bar, kettle station and local info. Then a spacious bedroom with seating area, and further area for storing bags, with safe and hanging space. The en-suite was large with double sink, walk in shower, bath, loo and bidet, plenty of fresh towels, gowns, slippers, toiletries and hairdryer.| Breakfast is available for €14 p/p.|The reception area had plenty of comfy seating, lots of tourist information and an afternoon station with coffee, water and cakes available. |On the roof was a small pool and decking area with seating and a few parasols.|Lifts to all floors. A perfect city hotel only yards from the main square and good...

Honestly I think the only reason they have 4 stars is because they comply with certain things like having reception overnight. I arrived to my room and there was hair in the shower, I kindly asked the receptionist to sort it out, after three hours I came back and the hairs were still there, she said the cleaning crew had sorted it out, clearly not. The rooms are outdated, the bed feels like sleeping on a piece of cheap foam, the room is noisy as if you were sleeping on the street and you can hear constant water running through the walls and the pool is ridiculous I wish I had gotten the three star hotel my friends got which was much better.

I took a room for only one night and enjoyed every minute in this lovely hotel. First of all the super great location, in the heart of the city centre. The room was one of the best rooms I ever visited, it's a huge room very comfortable and we'll designed. The bathroom is also huge with also a bath and a duch. The breakfast was really good with lots of options and finally the stuff was so kind and helpful. I'll com back definitely!!!!!!
