X Etapas | Tapas gamberras — Restaurant in Palma

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews and they delivered!

The tapas are inventive with the focus on flavour. Our waitress was attentive and understood what we wanted: a nice big sangria and good food!

(1) The eggplants on the coca were soft and flavourful, (2) the aged tuna complimented the fresh tomatoes and were accompanied by crunchy fried bread, (3) the poached egg on truffle mushrooms was perfectly runny, (4) the stuffed pepper had a good balance between savoury, sweet and sour, (5) the chicken sandwich was exceptionally soft and flavour-wise on point and (6) the octopus was well seasoned and soft - with a small shoutout to the fluffy potatoes!

It was around €69 euros for 2 persons and for the quality of the food...

We found this place because of its reviews and wanted to try to see if it was really worth the 5 stars and I can tell you it was! Without finding this place online you would most likely walk past it without noticing it and also when we were there it was very quiet. The waitress was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations, she was really passionate. The menu is full of tapas but different than the regular Spanish tapas, they are unique here in ingredients and were all very tasty. The croquetas were for me the best but I enjoyed all tapas. Definitely recommend this place if you want to have some different style of tapas which you will not easily find in other places in Spain. Price-quality ratio...

We lived near this place and then decided to check reviews. They were good so on our last evening in Palma we went there. The place is small, but cozy. Even though the waitress wasn't speaking well English she tried and did everything to compensate it, smiled, laughed and was very positive. Tapas are more “Instagram look a like” if you know what I mean. Many places have nice tapas, but they don’t look delicious (even if they are). Here everything was tasty and looked good. Octopus wasn’t overcooked (often a problem in other places). In the end they bring a bill with a basket with a small music box. Lovely touch!...
