Parking Valencia Centro - PAVAPARK — Local services in Valencia

Despite this being a nice garage, clean bathrooms, charging spots, definitely recommend against parking anytime during Fallas. We paid for the 6-day Fallas in/out unlimited parking pass. Despite following their special route map exactly, we had consistent issues getting to the garage. The route itself wasn't blocked with displays, but you have to pass 3 police barricades along the way. Getting past the barricades depends entirely on the officer staffing each checkpoint and their willingness to let you pass. It's a total crap shoot. Two nights we passed a barricade or 2, only to be denied passage at the next (residents only allowed to pass). We showed them our prepaid reservation, told them it's only a few blocks. Nope. At the end of our pass period we found the only reliable way to reach the garage was to drive the wrong way along the 2-block route from the garage to the Gran Via, the way you exit. First entry, our ticket was keyed to our plate, we used the ticket for the bathrooms and exit. Marvy. Second entry, guy took our ticket, refused to give it back, and said we had to buzz him to access bathrooms and exit the garage. When we exited several hours later, the different attendant demanded we use our ticket to exit. It took 5 minutes and 3 guys in the office to find a way to raise the gate so we could leave. Our third entry, no ticket. This time when we tried to exit, the intercom rang for 10 minutes before someone finally picked up. We had to circle around to allow other cars who had tickets to leave while we waited. Our fourth entry, we drove the wrong way for 2 blocks to reach the garage, by far our easiest access of the week, then were blocked in when we tried to leave at 11:30 PM because the small Fallas display on the garage street was being prepped to burn way beyond it's scheduled time. The exit street was blocked with fencing. We had to wait it out. Really nice facility. Find somewhere else...

update: I changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars. due to the fact that the parking management turned out to be very responsive and refunded the payment for the day when I could not use the parking due to the fact that there were no free spaces. As they explained to me, I needed to talk to security and they could open free reserved parking spaces. But due to the language barrier, I could not explain...

I paid for 24hours parking (16,50€) and arrived a little earlier than my 4pm reserved time. When I went to leave, 10 hours later, the gate would not open and before I could leave, they charged me extra for the time I arrived early!
