During my recent visit to Ostrabar in Valencia, I had a delightful experience that I’m eager to share. The highlight of this place is undoubtedly its oysters. They are remarkably fresh, and the variety available is impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences.
However, there are a couple of areas where Ostrabar could improve. Firstly, while the oysters are excellent, the selection of high-quality appetizers that complement them seems limited. Adding some fresh, flavorful salads to the menu would enhance the dining experience, especially for those who enjoy pairing oysters with lighter fare.
Another aspect that could use some attention is the non-alcoholic beverage selection. Apart from water, the options are somewhat sparse. It would be great to see a broader range of non-alcoholic drinks, perhaps some crafted mocktails or fresh juices, which would be a delightful addition for those who prefer to abstain from alcohol.
Overall, Ostrabar offers a decent dining experience, especially for oyster lovers in Valencia. With a bit more variety in appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages, this place could easily elevate its appeal. Definitely worth a visit for the oyster...
Read moreThis bar is one of a few Oyster bars in Valencia, I gave it a try last week. I ordered some oysters and one dish which has a same name with another dish on the menu, mine costs 3 and the other 15. I paid but that was an unpleasant experience. That was clearly the waiter’s fault for not looking as I pointed...

We tried about half of the oyster options, and all of them were delicious, fresh, and reacted to the lemon juice. I would like to highlight the tuna tartare: I loved it, but my wife thought it was too acidic. I also asked the waitress to choose a wine for us to pair with the oysters, and we really enjoyed it. At the end, we were given a painted oyster shell as a gift, which was very sweet and pleasant. The prices at the establishment are reasonable: for 14 oysters, tartare, a fish trio, and 4 glasses of wine, it...
