Citizentral Gascons — Hotel in Valencia

These apartment are situated in a good location and within five or ten minutes you can be at any of the top tourist attractions in this beautiful city. Our apartment was quite new, clean and well fitted out and was a pleasure to stay in.||The running of this place was in my opinion very poor and the management should get their act together.||We had arranged an early check in due to our plane arrival time so we expected some help.||We arrived at the apartment at 13:00, check in was from 15:00, note we had been up since 04:00||There were no human staff there and we were greeted with a machine which did not want to know us and said we had no booking.||We had two large cases and the temperature was in the thirties. I contacted a number I managed to find and spoke to a office lady she said to drag our cases to the other side of town to stow i suppose. ||I had no map to take with us so we had to while away two hours in the heat before the machine would acknowledge us at 15:00. why couldn't we stow our luggage at the apartments,we couldn't leave them unattended?||There were numerous problems after this which I will not go into.Our apartment could have been so good if only the management got their act together. We booked Citizentral Gascons for only one night, as we did not enjoy our previously booked hotel and left earlier then the check out date. We booked Citizentral on the day and everything went smoothly. At the check in, we received instructions for a keyless check in through an app but we weren'tmanaging it so we just went to the receptions (attention, not open all day, only 10h to 18h, bear that in mind) and the employee was very nice and helped us with a key card. The apartment itself was very nice and modern. Great for two people, but also had a sleeping couch for more. The kitchenette inclueded an microwave and a fridge. The bathroom was spacious and nice, the room also. The bed was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay (unfortunately only 1 night=. The location is great, right in the city center, close to everything, sights like the cathedral and Plaza del Ayuntamiento, with lots of restaurants and shops near by, evn a small Carrefour express, so you can by some groceries. This holiday apartment could be much better: there is no reception open all day long just a few hours in daytime. Cleaning just once a week. There is no lobby for guests the door is locked and also outdoor is locked. It's necessary to contact this place before you arrive. Angry worker from another same company's building said no lobby and after checkout there is no place to wait if you got later flight or later train they don't care at all you just go. Cleaners gave wrong information about the place but most bad worker ever was one worker from another building of same company. Never back I got there most bad customer service ever by front desk worker from another building. Didn't feel welcome at all I was first time visitor in Valencia.
